My reason for the purchase was purely because my video copy was past its best so decided to upgrade to the DVD. Excellent story based around the tale of Cinderella. Gemma Craven and Richard Chamberlain were ideally cast as Cinderella and the Prince. Great musical numbers. Great quips and funny lines from Annette Crosbie and Michael Horden. A lovely 'laid-back' musical. It would appeal to kids and grown-ups equally.

I had been trying to get this film on dvd for ages, but everywhere was out of stock. So i tried on e-bay and before i knew it i had won it and at a much better price!!! As a child i watched this film nearly every day until the video was worn out. I love this film as it takes you into a magical dreamland and it reminds me of my childhood.

DVD arrived very qucikly despite the holiday weekend. It was very well packagedand the quality of .the product is excellent. I am sure my grandchildren will enjoy it.

I bought it because I wanted a film with a young Richard Chamberlain in.
I thoroughly enjoyed it and will watch it many times. Richard has a very pleasant singing voice and was fantastic.
I also enjoyed seeing some of the older stars in it.not sure about Gemma Craven though.
A very watchable fim.

great price, classic a must have for your collection, a good family film. With lots of songs through out the film to sing along to and enjoy.

Fantastic Movie, Will Never Grow Old, A Classic!

A classic 1970's movie, with an all star cast! Its the fairy tale of Cinderella, to which has been brought to life in a muscial format. The costumes, music and general theme of the movie is inspiring and can be watched over and over again. With classic discreat comedy to an adult audience, I first watched this movie when I was eight years old , I have never forgotten it, and will take great delight in introducing this wonderful story to the younger generation to come!

Great value DVD of an excellent film re-telling the Cinderella tale. Have been looking for this on DVD for ages, had an old video copy which is almost worn out.

I've been looking for this DVD for ages and was very excited to see it bidding for such a great price! I didn't realise it was a freebie from a paper but my fault for not reading the sellers information in detail. I'm happy with the product regardless, it's an all time classic and a family favourite!

Amazing film - they dont make them like this anymore -my daughter loves it as do i perfect family viewing!!!!!

Excellent film and simple story line based on Cinderella. Bought this for my parents as they have worn out their video version

First saw the film when I was about 10. All I could remember was the lovely costumes and the magic of turning Cinderella out of her rags. On watching it again, it brought back some lovely memories. The characters are great. Had to fast-forward some of the songs though (a bit too many!).

i was so glad to find it on DVD. i had a chance to be it when it was first released in New York City.

I decided to buy it as it was a film I last saw when I was a child. Only thing was I forgot it was a musical!!!

Unlike my many other purchases via eBay I am extremely disappointed by this item - pricipally because that although I successfully bid for it on August 3rd (and payment was immediatly made through PayPal) I still have not received the goods.Nor any response to my emails sent to the seller in the intervening five weeks!! I wish (hope?) eBay could / would sort it out.

It is a great film for curling up on the sofa on a Sunday afternoon. Fun film for all the family.

Really disappointed with the quality of the first copy I bought but recently got hold of another copy and it is great, plus the service I received second time around was great, can't fault it. Thanks.

This is a fab film for all ages, got it for my mum who watches it all the time. Think i'll be getting it aagain as she'll have worn the dvd out.

The DVD is very good quality, although this was a promotional copy from the Daily Mail, is is still the original film.

I would like to notify you, as I am sure you are aware, there are DVDS on ebay which are imports/copies. I know these are illegal to sell and it as I did not know my purchase was a copy at the time of buying I was dissappointed with the quality and would not have bought it if I had known.

On the whole the purchases I have bought are very good.
