Sling Blade (DVD)

I've been meaning to add this film to my DVD collection for quite some time now, ever since watching it very late at night on BBC1 several years ago. I remember thinking whilst watching it how superb Billy Bob Thornton's performance was, and trust me you will hardly recognise him. It's a performance and movie that calms you, whilst at the same time keeps you waiting for something terrible to happen. Billy Bob Thorntons character forms an amazing friendship with a young lad who also takes him under his wing.

If you have a spare couple of quid I would highly advise buying this film. It will give you an insight into how great an actor Billy Bob Thornton actualy is.
