Sky High (DVD)

Okay so this film is about as American as Apple Pie. There's nothing controversial or troubling about this movie. It is a true true family film from the safe as houses Disney stable.

It's a teen drama meets super hero flick, think Dawsons Creek with spandex, and despite it's holier than thou image of all the teen superheros and side-kicks (a side kick being those unfortunate teens in the lesser social strata of 'hero support' as defined by having super powers deemed 'weaker') this is a great, clever, funny and well polished film. One for all the family to enjoy. A good entertaining story that is a clever parody of the whole super hero genre. This never strays into scenes or subjects of a violent or sexual nature. Good wholesome modern day storytelling. A nice film to watch.

Really great family film. Similar idea to the 'Incredibles' with family members having super hero powers but well worth a watch. Kids loved it as there was lots of action and funny bits too(and there are a few adult jokes in there too!)

great film i loved it its kids with high school problems but they have super powers but they are split into 2 groups heros and sidekicks heros are the top dogs sidekicks are the losers of the school i give sky high a 9/10

Film is brilliant for kids, full of adventure and `good against bad action, I thoroughly enjoyedit too!

Bought this for the kids to watch on holiday but loved it myself.
it felt a bit wiered to see Snake Pliskine (Escape from new York)play such a diverse role - I was expecting his satire and Clint Eastwoodian sneer but was pleasantly surprised - juvenile for sure but watchable for grownups too.

Sky High DVD - It is great, funny,action packed, great for children age 7 years upwards, ok for parents too!!

My daughter loves this film. A fab film she can watch over and over. We lost our copy, that is why we decided to buy this one.

Worth watching just to see Linda Carter again. Good plot well casted. Shame the son didnt stay a "Hero support" to buck the trend however work out well if predictably. I enjoyed it -a fun film.

The idea is sound but the resulting film doesn't quite cut it, it could have been better in so many different ways. Having said that, that is the opinion of an adult, children may have a different opinion.
With the likes of Fasntastic Four etc on our screens this doesn't stand a chance and pales in comparison, both acting wise and story line.

if you are anythink like are family that take time to sit down together at taetime to eat and watch a family film this is for you i did not think i would in joy kirk russel in a teenager film as he is one of my altime favort action heros but to my surprise i found it to be very funny with lots of action

My 8 years old son LOVES !!!! this film. I have watched this film as well and like it very much. I have bought DVD because my son asked me and I was fed up of renting ( at least 5 times ) from library and paying every time 1 pound.Now he has this film in his " HERO " collection and VERY-VERY HAPPY !!!!!!

reallly funny for kids and adults alike, some real humour that goes over the kids head, and packed full of action too!!
A very easy to watch film, easy plot and highly recommended for a relaxing afternoon with the family!!!

We saw an advert for this film on the snippets of another film. We loved it!!! had everything, action, adventure, super heros.... well worth recommending.
