I think this is going to be a classic teen series . If you havent seen series 1 get it and enjoy ! The casting has had a lot of thought ...and works well ...so well im sure we all know a Tony ...or a Sid ...expect lots of laughs in fact i did not see this on t.v ..but got the dvd first ...it was so good i watched it back to back ! For the oldies out there ..it reminds me of a series called " Going out " from the late 70's....So get a pizza .a couple of cans ..sit back and enjoy !
skins season 2 - I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a mixture of comedy and drama. The show never takes itself too seriously yet at the same time the characters are incredibly endearing and certain events are very moving. Skins is very much a black comedy. The show has become much darker and it deals with realistic situations teenagers have to deal with. The second season adds new dimensions to the characters and evidently is very much re-watchable TV. This is possibly the best British tv series out there at the moment, perhaps even surpassing the heights of shameless.
i bought skins series on the first of june i sent the money via the post on the 3rd but he did not send his full address till the 5th i am disapointed also on the 5th he gave me a unpaid item strike i will never again use the ebay seller
Series 2 - just as good as series 1. Most of the main characters develop significantly. Shame the emphasis is so much on the heterosexuals though. Gay people are probably just sick and tired that even the best UK tv shows do not represent their lives at all other than superficially. Even Ch 4 is failing in normalising homosexuality, sadly. But still excellent British tv, as good as Shameless, but different and not as humorous. Looking forward to Season 3. And if you didn't know it, Season 4 of IDEAL has just started on BBC3. Also essential viewing. As is HEROES, THE WIRE, LOST, WEEDS, ENTOURAGE and NIPTUCK.
