Skins - Series 1 - Complete (DVD)

Skins is the most interesting thing on television at the moment, a must watch. It follows the lives of a group of friends and they troubles they have with: sexuality, religion, teachers, parents and drugs. A brilliant show that everyone must see, it shows us what life as a teenager in 2007 is like.

I bought this product because I can not buy in Spain. The ebayer seller is excellent, serious, and I believe all his items are excellents and in good conditions. Good prices, fast shipping in a secure envelope. I resume: EXCELLENT AND PERFECT.

How could you not like Skins?? It is the best thing on TV and watching it again on DVD just reinforced my view that this is even better the second time round. Unlike Shameless which sometimes looses the plot, the writers have concentrated on making a series that truly reflects the life of teenagers today. The characters are believable and the acting is superb. Just waiting now for the second series to come out on DVD so I can watch that too.

I borrowed this off a friend a while ago and just had to buy it for myself as it was just so good- thought-provoking yet hilarious! I'd recommend it to anyone!

this series is groundbreaking, looking at teenagers and many of the problems that exist today in a realistic and often shocking way.

i love it i think that Skins is amazing. i dont think there is any other show like it. i find myslef bored by the other shows on tv show as big brother and desperate house wives but i think skins has something in it for everyone not only does it cater for the young but also the old. i cant wait to also get the secound series:D

This is a fabulous dvd, i watched all the episodes on tv so thought i better buy it. The theme of the series is brilliant, and is very real.

Love it!Love it!Love it! Everyone needs Skins in their life, you get to know the characters (everyone has their favourite...mine is Chris)and before long your laughing and crying with them! This series is definately addictive, but would you expect any less when you check out who wrote it.

I thought this was brilliant. It covers all sorts of problems and dilemmas that teenagers come across and the cast was superb. There was a character for everyone to compare themselves too, connect with and even fall in love with and there were some great cameos. Danny Dyer was much appreciated!! Good to cover cultures and religion, and it tackled Cassie's eating disorder with great precision and respect. I loved it!!! I would highly recommend it to all.

I watched every minute of this series when it was on TV and cannot wait to sit down and watch it all again.

The storylines are engaging, and while sometimes going into the realm of being OTT (but in a good way) they always seem to be based in reality.

The characters are a genuine mixture of friends, instead of the groups of clones usually found in TV land, verging from the lovable (Sid) not so much (Tony) and slightly unbalanced (Cassie).

This is one of the few programs where I'm yet to hear a single person say they dislike it. It has certainly replaced Shameless (1st + 2nd series especially) as being my favourite show.

Easily the best thing on telly nowadays. I watched the first series without fail on e4 every week and then watched it all again on channel 4! Then bought this dvd so I can watch it when I want!
If you've never seen skins, i definately recommend it.
A really fun show with great storylines.

One of the best tv series I have ever watched. The vest thing about it is the unpredictable plot and the likeability of the characters( i love cassie :D)..I cannot think of anything I can compare it to, its unique and brilliant in its own way.

I decided to buy Skins - Series 1 because I enjoyed watching it on the TV and it was an excellent sale off ebay especially compared to prices in the shops.

i like this dvd as its really entertaining and shows the modern way of teenage life, it has something i think most teens can relate to in an adult manner it shows alot of drug useage but not to the point it over shaddows the main points and drama of what the creators are trying to show. i would recomend to anyone that isnt easily offended or narrow minded. i decided to buy it as i really like watching it when it was on telly but i misses most episodes and it was half the price (includeing p&p) than it is in the shops so i thought it would be better to buy online and shop around a bit.

if you seen skins s2 advertised on tv and think it looks good you should really get this as its amazing. skins is great show for all ages to watch and find it funny
