Six Feet Under - Series 2 - Complete (DVD 2004)

Excellent quality disks. I had watched series 1 but did not catch all of the remaining series. I was very lucky to find someone who had the remaining series as a complete lot. I can now watch the whole lot at my leisure. Delighted with the purchase.

The show continues to add great character development to good acting.
The series has added to the quirky and often disturbing personalities of its many and varied characters.

In my opinion six feet under is the best television drama ever and have already watched it from start to finish several times. It is one of those rare shows that I know I'll watch again and again so the boxsets are definately worth investing in. A programme focussed firmly on the lives and loves of the Fisher family has laughter and sadness in equal measure and draws you in so much as a viewer you start to feel like part of the family!!
A beautifully made show that is sorely missed!!

This is the second season to one of the best tv shows ever made and it challenges you all the way through. In this season you learn more about the characters relationships with one another and other characters get introduced, worth buying.

Six feet under is just a brilliant balance of drama, and at times comedy.Having seen the first series I will probably continue to watch all five.It has quite a surreal content at times where the people that have died interact with Fisher family, who run the funeral home.The now dead father often appears in order to converse with Nathan, one of the sons.The other brother David is gay and has now "come out" to his mother and confirmed what his sister had probably guessed.SFU is, in my view slightly weighted on the gay content but it is a brilliant programme.Like all series it is better viewed on a boxed set to be viewed when and where you feel like it.I would definitely urge anyone to give it a try in chronological order.

One of the great things about Ebay is getting to try things out at a fraction of their normal price - like this boxed set of DVDs of the hit USA series of Six Feet Under.

I first watched a few episodes of this show - I think the jargon term for it is 'dramedy' as it is a blend of humour and drama - when the entire first series appeared for free on my cable TV 'demand' services.

Like millions of others, I fell in love with its blend of pathos, humanity and belly laughs. All of which you have to guess do actually go on in a funeral home - it's a job like any other, and most of us get through our working days by laughing a little, don't we?

I wanted to see the next batch bu the boxed sets in the shops are pricey, and I do have a habit of going off something if I binge on it - a bit like if you drink too much Cider when you're 15 and can never touch a pint of Strongbow again!

This purchase was reasonably priced, in good condition, and sure enough, after watching the first disc I got a bit...bored. No fault of the show, and I look forward to going back and watching the rest some point soon.

But even if I never do, I only paid a few pounds for it - £12 I think - and as soon as I have watched them, I can relist them on Ebay and make a few pennies from them.

Sometimes you can encounter problems when buying discs, so make sure beforehand that they are definitely compatible with your system, and check out the seller's feedback thoroughly to make sure they are trustworthy - and ask them straight out if there are any scratches, marks or damage. Most people on Ebay are honest and good to deal with - just make sure you are comfortable with them before you hand over the cash.

After watching the first series via my V+ box via catch up TV, I was hooked and just had to buy the second series, and using Ebay to get it is the best way.
Enjoyed watching the second series, am already half way through the third, and have already won the fourth.
Totally recommend this series to everyone.

The series returned with even more twists than before. This series is excellent and well recommended. My partner watched it and enjoyed it and normally he doesnt like the American hit shows. It kept me wanting to watch on and even more eager to purchase the next series to determine what happens next...

Such a great programme, brilliant characters, great story and very entertaining. Just one warning-you do get hooked and then you have to watch all 5 seasons! It's a masterpeice!

I became hooked on this series after watching Season 1. The lives and loves of those at Fisher and Sons makes for compelling and fascinating viewing. I am currenly watching Season 3 and will soon, hopefully, be buying Season 4!

A fascinating insight into the American way of death meshes the series together, without being too maudlin. There are many dramatic and comedic moments to be had also. For me, one of the best TV series to come over from the US in years!
