A Simple Plan (DVD 2005)

I decided to convert most of my film collection to dvds as my tapes were deteriorating with age and the dvds would take up much less space. I thought I would see if I could find the films on ebay as it would save me time. This film is an excellent gripping psychological thriller which explores how friendships and relationships change when faced with a dilemma of what to do when a large money is discovered. Should they keep it or give it back. As the plot unfolds their friendships are really put to the test and you can see how they misunderstood and over-estimated the value of their friendships. Of course this all leads to murder but it has a lovely messsage at the end that love and friendship and family are much more important than greed and money.
However unfortunately the dvd was designed to be compatible with a region 1 dvd player and mine was not so I couldn't watch it.
