Takes me back to the Barrowlands 1989. I can remember it like yesterday. Jim Kerr absolutely owned the place!! THEME FOR GREAT CITIES is a fantastic track.

) i love this cd it has all my favourite songs i specifically like "up on the catwalk, speed your love to me, song for the great cities," brings back lots of memories its all good! :-)

THE DOUBLE CD FORMAT SUITS THIS ALBUM AS IT REALLY IS AN ALBUM OF 2 HALVES, WITH TRACKS FROM THEIR ALTERNATIVE ROOTS TO THEIR EARLY HITS ON THE FIRST DISC. WHILE THEIR LATER TRACKS FEATURED ON THE SECOND DISC HAVE A MORE ESTABLISHED STADIUM ROCK SOUND. OVER ALL A VERY LISTENABLE ALBUM. MY PERSONAL FAVOURITES ARE THE EARLIER TRACKS SUCH AS: I TRAVEL, THEME FOR GREAT CITIES, THE AMERICAN & LOVE SONG.

The best of simple minds(2001)
) my husband loves this cd i bought him a tape and it wore out.I bought it as an extra gift for him at xmas.He belts it out as were driving along it makes me happy to see him happy,he said it reminds him of his youth bless him,its keeps us amused when were on long journeys,its a good mixure of there finest songs and its one of those album that doesnt collect dust nothing to dislike its Ace

love s minds went to watch them in the summer pops liverpool and they get better as they get older all the classic hits even if u like the odd few u will get to love the rest classics like love song belfast child a classic cd keep on rollin jim kerr and come back nxt year ps listen to ther last single home they should be back in the charts
