  Best headphones I ever used!

I kept seeing these advertised on in-flight magazines, and the blurb attracted me, but the price put me off. I found a pair on eBay for 48 quid however, and I have never looked back since. As long as you choose the ear tips carefully from the selection provided, LEARN HOW TO INSERT THEM PROPERLY, and don't throw them around a lot, they are incredible. Everyone who complains about them falling out, or lack of bass is not fitting them correctly, but don't expect disco-levels of bass end, they are not designed for that! they are designed to reproduce EXACTLY what is on your player with no colouration. They also reject a lot of background noise, so you dont have to turn your player up so loud to compete with traffic, plane/train noise etc. I have used mine on countless flights and I can leave the ipod volume at around 30% and sleep happily with my music and very little engine roar. I have had mine 18 months now, and they are as good as new, and sounding even better after they were burnt-in over the first few weeks. I would recommend them to anyone, without reservation. I am saving up to buy some E4 series now, I am so impressed with these.

i brought a pair of these off ebay about 6 months ago, and thought they were great, my brother brought a pair of ultimate ears for £120, and mine were £45, theres a noticable difference in the 2 but i thought for the 75 quid saving i was happy.

but now because of where the wire goes around the top of your ear, its all cracked now and is always cutting out, or the volume will dip. this wouldnt have been a problem if they put a small bit of wire to support it

these are good if you arnt a heavy user of them, but if like me you use them a few hours every day, they arnt.

go for a pair of ultimate ears, they may be more expensive, but you do get better quality earphones.

hope you find this helpful

  Shure E2C Headphones
Review created: 10/03/08

Ok they take a little getting used to but once you have found the right earplug that suits your ear (you get a few different ones supplied with the phones)you can totally lose yourself in your music. I found most earphones either fell out or made my ears sore. These are fab they(almost)totally block out any background noise (which can be a little eerie or should that be earie!) and enable you to hear things in the music you've never heard before. If you've got a decent MP3 give the music a chance..I bet you listen to your music even more than before with these

  SHURE E2C's
Review created: 06/03/08

The Shure E2c's are a brilliant pair of ear phones that produce incredible sound from Shure's base model range. They cancel 90% of ambient noise allowing you to listen to music at lower volumes in noisy places, selecting a compatble pair of earbuds that suit your ears is crucial as you won't be able to hear the earphones true sound quality. They are worn in a unique around the ear style which feels really comfortable without the wires dangling on the side of your face avoiding any tangles. Shure are usually targeted at music enthusiasts that settle for nothing less than exceptional , these however come at £40-£55 making it affordable for anyone that wants great sound at a lower price. Check out Shure's more expensive models for even better performance!
