The third instalment of this excellent franchise, sadly when compared to it’s predecessors it comes short but still a viewable film.
Plot Summary:
Fiona's father the King of Far Far Away passes away, Shrek becomes the reluctant successor of the throne.
Shrek decides to find the legitimate heir so he can return to his beloved swamp.
As with the previous films lots of humorous parodies which make a second viewing a must in order to get them all.
My favourite scene is the dream sequence of baby ogres invading Shrek’s cottage
Some nice 'extras' on this DVD
It may be more cost effective to buy the three film boxset
