How ambition doesn't always match intelligence.

Shelly is an idle, work-shy liberal in an age where money and career are everything. How is it that a PHd educated man could have only worked for 2 weeks as a bean packer and as a poet at the Dairy Queen, was a question the job centre regularly asked him? Still, this didn't seem to prevent him and his lazy girlfriend, Fran, from claiming benefits indefinitely. Some of the chats at the job centre are simply legendary. A tremendous oberver of life, Shelley has a witty take on just about everything. No matter what you think about his 'choice' of lifestyle, you cannot help but laugh at his funny one-liners and take on life.
This DVD is a must have for anyone who lived through the 80's and brings back a lot of great memories.
