Sheena Easton's Best Dance Album!

Sheena Easton bounced back from her 1987 split from EMI with her most decidedly urban set to date. It has slightly harder urban edge, recorded at a time when Sheena was projecting a much sexier image.
Enlisting the help of R&B production heavyweights L.A. Reid and Babyface — as well as Angela Winbush, Jellybean and Prince, she came out with a youthful and trend-savvy offering that has many fun moments.
The snazzy L.A. and Babyface number "The Lover in Me" (number two pop, number five R&B) is one of the album's most solid, memorable moments, the DMC Dance Remix of this song is still the best remix i have heard (and owned)!
Other hit singles from this album include "Days Like This" (#35 on the R&B chart, UK #43) and "101" (UK #54). The Prince-penned "101," a subtly haunting, understated dance romp with what is one of the singer's most passionate, revealing performances on record. The David Morales and Prince remixes gave this song a dance chart boast.
Standout album tracks include "Fire and Rain", "No Deposit, No Return", "Follow My Rainbow" and "If It's Meant To Last."
The album reached US #44, it was certified Gold by RIAA, also peaking at UK #30.
