SHARK TALE IS A CHILDREN'S FILM, BUT LIKE SO MANY ANIMATED FILMS THESE DAYS, KIDS LOVE THE PICTURES, BUT THE DIALOGUE AND HUMOUR IS DIRECTED AT ADULTS.
WITH THE VOICES OF WILL SMITH, ANGELINA JOLIE AND RENEE ZELLWEGGER, IT IS BASED AT THE BOTTOM OF THE SEA, AND IS CENTRED AROUND A GROUP OF FISH WHO ARE TERRIFIED BY SHARKS.
ONE OF THE SHARKS, LENNY,IS VERY KIND HEARTED, AND A VEGETARIAN, AND WOULD NEVER KILL A FISH. WITH LENNY'S HELP, A LITTLE FISH WITH BIG DREAMS, OSCAR (WILL SMITH)MANAGES TO GET HIMSELF THE NICKNAME 'THE SHARK SLAYER' AND GETS FAMOUS AND EARNS HIMSELF SOME MONEY, WHICH IS HANDY AS HE OWES HIS BOSS.
THE FUNNIEST PART OF THIS FILM ARE THE RASTAFATIAN JELLY FISH, ERNIE AND BERNIE (DOUG.E.DOUG AND ZIGGY MARLEY).

) the movie is very funny and keeps my six year old daughter happy for a couple of hours,when her friends come around they ask to watch it straight away.Very well made movie all characters are superbly animated.even i will watch it with them its so funny.

this is a brilliant film i love animations especially is the special effects are great this is funny and interesting will smith does the voice of the main character and he is great there are alot of big actors in this film its a tale of freindship and love along with a lie that spins well out of control it really is worth watching ive watched it a few times and decided to buy it

Even though this film is a few years old now, i can still watch it with the kids without getting bored and laugh as much as i did the first time round!
The relationship between oscar and lenny is great and nopt expected from a shark and a fish! With sexy Angelina Jolie as the tempting lola this film is full of fun and suprises

Having watched a variety of children's films with my kids that leave you checking the dvd box for how long left it has to go,it was a nice change to watch to 'SHARK TALE'from the makers of Shrek.The film has some very funny moments,great visuals and an enjoyable plot.My 4 kids range from 2 to 14 years old and they all sat there engrossed-quite a difficult job to get a film all 4 kids 'and' mum likes too ! Anyway,the story line is as such.....Oscar the fish (voiced by will smith) becomes somewhat of a mistaken hero as a Shark Slayer.He has to keep the fact that he's not actually a shark slayer secret and befriends a vegetarian shark called Lenny to help him out and then the truth unravels...! Lots of cool music,laughs and fish that look like the actors voicing them-very clever ! Sit back and enjoy it with the kids.
