Shania Twain - Come On Over (CD 2000)

My late husband always listened to Shania before going to sleep. The song youre Still The One is very poignant for me as when we met, all odds were against us. He was terminally ill with cancer, i was one of his nurses. When he left the hospital to be cared for under the palliative team, we got together. My ward manager wanted me to resign from that specific ward, i dug my heels in. They all said it would be nothing but heartbreak - we stuck it out, supported each other, sold up to move closer to his parents and consultant when we thought the end was nigh. We were together for 5+ years and as we were sitting together a few days before the end, we both said - looks like we made it......he had a happy peaceful death.

I can never replace Erwin he is/was one in a million hence the songs 'I Wont Leave You Lonely Tonight' (i was on permanant 3 nights per week at the hospital) Another emotive song for 'From This Moment On' and Youre Still The One - i often remember his words of wisdom and guidance.
