Shameless - Series 1 - Complete (DVD)

I bought seris 1 from ebay after watching seris 3 on tv. I wanted to know how it all started and now im hooked! Id say Seris 1 is the best, although they are all absolutely brill!

I have seen Shameless from series 2 onwards and loved it, but wondered how it all started?
A simple search on Ebay found loads of the series and boxed sets.
I purchased series 1-4 and watched them all, 2-3 episodes every night with my wife who fell in love with the series too.
The first series that i watched for the first time answered a few questions and made the entire series even more enjoyable,.family life on the Chatsworth estate focused on the Ghalleger family and their life on a manchester estate
10/10 and i believe that they are making a new series that i am looking forward to.

if you like the royle family then shameless is a must watch tv series ,if you are easily offended then stay away from shameless .
I could write pages and pages on what shameless is about but please just watch it it was recommended to me from a good friend and i am so glad he did.

as a fan of the shameless series i thought i'd had series 1 on dvd but as ive a large selection of dvd's it must of slipped through ive got the other's on dvd and thats why i decided its a must for series 1

I thought I'd try this first series as Shameless was on my radar despite having no TV reception where my house is in West Wales.
I saw part of an episode while at a friend's house in London, and couldn't beleive what I was seeing.
This turned out to be Series 4 as I later found out after buying the whole series to date on DVD (Series 5 has just appeared in the shops but I shall wait for 2nd hand discs to become available and save some money).
Having devoured the entire series in a few weeks it was interesting to see how the actors became comfortable in their characters hectic, violent and often tender lives as time went on, on the strength of this my favourite would have to be the second series as the writing was so strong too.
The first series was ground breaking and is a must to paint the picture of these loveable families, hopefully you will also be tempted to follow their trials and tribulations with a wry smile.
Definately re-watchable. Enjoy!

i started wacthing from 4th series so just had to see wat i had been missing.
after buying the first series i was able to buy second and i am now bidding on series 3

I loved this dvd, it s not a film, its a series about families, in Manchester, within a council area. Series one and two has a now hollywood star, James Mcavoy and his wife (in real life) Anne Marie Duff. They are also together in these dvd's

series one (Dvd) is where they first meet!and fall for each other. If you dont beleive how good this series actually is, either borrow the dvd from someone or type it in on You Tube! you will get hooked and you will want to go and buy them.

Having wanted to own shameless on dvd for some time now i decided to buy the first series and give it a go, after all everyones watching it!
this gritty realistic comedy/drama is one of the best TV shows ever to come out of channel 4's already ample repitoire.
highly recommended to anyone Shameless is one for all.

I saw about 10 minutes of this on TV one night & thought it looked funny, especially being from the North myself, While browsing e-bay & having my weekly "Oh God Ive spent £100!!!" few hours, purchased it. Thank god I did... Its great, very down to earth, amusing & "real life" without being too serious. I think most Northerners will relate to it, but so will others from everywhere as there is probably an estate very similar to the one on Shameless not too far away... I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone who wants a good laugh with some good storylines.

It arrived as the incorrect DVD at first, he had sent it to the wrong person!
Then he claimed on the ad that it never had been watched but the Dvd is totally scratched!!!!!

i thoght this dvd was so funny and couldnt stop laughing. i loved the way the producers portrayed the family by taking everything to the next level was funnyness

Classic black comedy - irreverent, rude but so very funny you could not be offended. The antics of this disfunctional family will delight all comedy fans - you just need a bit of a broad mind.

This is the most funniest comedy I've seen for a long time. You laugh all the way through and then laugh again afterwards when you think about what you've watched. I would recommend this series to anyone and I don't know anyone who has watched and disliked it. If you haven't watched it you need to it's fantastic

Bought series 1 for my husband who had never seen any of the earlier series but has been enjoying series 6 on c4 at the moment - he was going to save them to get his shameless fix while waiting for series 7 on c4 but loved it so much we're now awaiting series 4 to arrive as we've almost finished 1-3!
An extreme 18 rated comedy but if you're prepared for the language, nudity drugs etc then you'll appreciate the brilliant comedy this is :)

I had watched this before i bought it so i already knew its brilliance. Absolutely hilarious, can be watched over and over and still appreciated.

Absolute magic - laugh a minute - recommended. True to life but has a sad side to the hilarity which gives a balanced view. There are parts in the series which would apply to any family in Britain, just it all seems to happen to them !

as advertised, a litle pricey but not unreasonable, perfect condition, fast post. could have used a bit better communication, but no big deal. i reccomend you as a seller.

My husband enjoys watching the series of Shameless but he missed the first series so I decided to look on ebay for it, its in good condition and came really quickly. Good service.

I bought shameless 1 on DVD, because I really love the tv series, it is so true to life and have seen the same on housing estates where I used to live. I find it true and yet funny at the same time. I have not just watched it once but several times, it's a great series.
