Case appeared a bit worn, however it was delivered in good time and well packaged. There is no point in me commenting on tracks that are over 40 yrs old as their time longeviety speaks for themselves. It's a fantastic album and deservadbly is the best album af all time.

Why I bought this? Well, I can nearly remember when it came out and this music was part of my growing up. Still very good to listen to with some real classics on it. A must for all Beatles fans!

I was given this album the first time around in 1967 {in Vynl} as a 21st birthday present I played it so much{on my dansett record player} I wore it out Its nice to have it again on CD its as good now as it was then This in my opinion the greatest album The Beatles ever made

Great to hear this on cd, my original vinyl is so well played there are sounds you do not hear on the vinyl

I first bought this as an LP back in the 60`s and had forgotten how good it is.The tracks are still exciting and we still skip the indian one by Harrison. Happy Days when most pop was as good as this.on e bay it cost less than the original.

Classic album, all great songs. Loved the Beatles for a long time and still listen to various albums now and again. Good to revive the past sometimes and this music takes you back well and truly.

Bought because seller claimed the CD was in excellent condition - CD was scratched to the point that it couldn't be played - sent it back - seller lied & claimed CD was copied - bought CD from another seller - this seller is a liar & timewaster - kev2705 is a waste of space.

Shame as this album is the greatest album ever made - if you are not a Beatles fan listen to this, the 'white album' and the 'red' & prepare to be converted..

Having converted most of my old video collection to DVD I was thrilled to find this film gem in digital format. If you watch this in widescreen format, it really does the battle scene great justice; coupled with surround sound, you'll be gripped by the amazing cinematography. I would recommend the director's cut that includes scenes about the relationship between the lead character and his estranged wife and helps you to understand the motivation behind his decision. The run time is 183 minutes for the directors cut and 120 minutes for the cinema version. I was, however, disappointed by the lack of extras, which any fan of this classic would expect to be included. There's only a 20-minute interview with the director and other shot "making-of" vignettes.

Nostalgic reasons, just replacing most of my old vinyls with cds, the Beatles were and still are the best group, with well written songs and lyrics that are timeless

A must have cd for all real music lovers. The beatles at their best with such favourites as Lucy in the sky, with a little help from my friends and the catchy when im 64. Guarenteed you will be singing along before the cd ends

Brought back a lot of memories!. This was released when I was at college and was seldon off my friends turntables. At long last I decided there was no valid reason why I still hadn't got it in my collection. Real music, They seldom produce an album that has such Iconic status. I was never a true Beatles fan, I was more into the Moody Blues (still am) but a real piece of nostalgia.

Total classic, one of my favourite Beatles Albums, love all of it. Something for everyone of this CD.

This was a brilliant buy. I grew up listening to the vinyl version of this so is great to finally have it on CD.

I couldnt believe it was 40 years since the album was released. Love the quirkyness of it. It was way ahead of its time. There is nothing to dislike about it. Bought it to remind me of the fact that I was once young and foolish.

An excellent album celebrating 40 years and is the same age as me. Had to have a CD copy and went straight to ebay to find one. Of course I found what I wanted straight away.

Absolute rubbish. Nowhere near as good as their earlier stuff. I felt really let down by what is supposed to be their "greatest album ever!!!"

I'm from Liverpool. Let's face it, I've been brought up on the Beatles and am pretty sick of everybody assuming that I love them. I thought I had them down as poppy, catchy and not as good as the rolling stones. Yet when I heard this album at a friends house, I had to eat my hat and buy it. I particularly liked 'within you without you' which is really quite spiritual coming from the band who wrote 'obla-dee obla-da'. But yeah, if you like quirky and you like good music, then obla-dee obla fucking da, this is the right beatles album for you.

I decided to purchase a copy of this beatles album by way of CD as it was missing from my collection and this year will be the 40th anniversary of such a revolutionary album. Playing it once again proved to me just what a great album it was. It has now been included on my new i-pod so I have it with me wherever I go.

The Beatles are perhaps the greatest popular musicians of all time, and when you listen to this album you will understand why. Not their best album, but still plenty of incredible songs on here - that will never go out of date. Incredible Stuff. Guaranteed something for everyone.
Everything from the Sleeve to the music is Legendary - Plus in HMV/Virgin these beatles albums are always around 12-15 so grab yourself a bargain.

I had already got the original LP, but I have been replacing my record collection on CD. By shopping on eBay I have been able to do this at very reasonable prices and excellent quality of products, with the above item being a very good example.
