Sex And The City - Series 5 (DVD 2003)

Very good transaction. Everything ran smoothly and i was happy with my purchase. Everything that i was told i would get, i got.

I thought to buy the series separately, but by the time i paid post and package for each of the series that i bought on line ( series 1,2,3,5,6) it cost me more than the amount the shops wanted for the whole box, that included the series in complete and brand new...
now that i have them, some of the DVDs wont even play on my DVD player...
what a waste of money...

With only eight episoded many would think this is a waste of money but boy what eight episodes these are. Here the girls really are all grown up. Carrie is continuing life without Aidan, Charlotte is divorcing, Miranda is struggling with a baby and feeling frumpy and left out, and Samantha is nursing a broken heart.. not that stops her. Carrie meets Jack Burger a man that appears perfect for her. The episode where the girls take a trip to Las Vegas is particularly good. You can't not buy this. I promise you won't be dissappointed.

I'm a bit biased as I love Sex & the City but this series does start to get a bit grittier and seems to explore their lives more outside of the bedroom! Of course there is still an awful lot of bedroom activity - ho hum, but with Miranda's new baby there is more real stuff and I could really relate to her with the alienated feelings that come with having a new baby. It is a real shame that this season is only 8 episodes and I did feel annoyed but it is essential viewing in order to get to the... sniff... last ever season... sniff but hey, at least the last season is like 6 DVD's or something - YAHOOOOOO! God, I need to get a life! Hope you all enjoy it as much as I did x

More of the same from Carrie and the girls. As expected and much much more. Sometimes quality is preferred over quantity, but in this case, at only 8 episodes, you can feel a little short changed. Is it our fault they got pregnant!!!

It's the penultimate season of what is undoubtedly one of the best sitcoms ever. leading to the sixth and final explosive season.

a great watch for a girlie night in. shame it was cut short. the girls are their usual selves with lots of sex antidotes. and cary finally looks like she might earn some money. Mr big misses yet another chance with cary.

After seeing the film Sex & The City I wanted to watch the series again.
I'd forgotten how excellent they were.

A BRILLIANT SERIES BEST EVER EVERY GIRLS DELIGHT NO LADY SHOULD BE WITHOUT IT. VERY FUNNY WITH HIGHS AND LOWS OF EACH PERSON.

Item was marked as an Italian version... but with English audio... which the Cover was indeed in Italian but all you need to do is select the English version from the menu. Item arrived promptly & was packed with complementary case too.

The one with Carrie's book launch, Miranda's new baby, Charlotte's divorce and Samantha's heart break.............................thoroughly enjoyable.
