Bought as a gift for a 'Sex and the City' fan- she already had all series on video but we thought it would be good to 'upgrade' the collection to DVD. Plus I love the idea of putting all the series into a shoebox! Great compact size and has every single episode! Already watched this boxset from start to finish- truly addictive TV! An amazing series with great characters. Once you've started watching you can't live without Carrie, Miranda, Samantha and Charlotte. I would say it is the best ending to a series ever- even better than the final 'Friends'.

Love this series. I checked other online prices and got the best deal here. The poster who said that Virgin Megastores had the same set for £49 is wrong. They are charging £129.99 and their set is currently unavailable.

A previous reviewer has stated that people buying on Ebay are being ripped off. Clearly not true, no one is forced to buy and there is allways price competion in the market place.

I PURCHASED THIS BOX SET BECAUSE I LOVE THE SERIES SEX AND THE CITY. SAD BUT TRUE I ALREADY HAVE ALL OF THE SERIES ON DVD AND WHILE TRYING TO ORGANISE MY DVD COLLECTION ONE DAY (AS THEY'D SPILLED OFF THE SHELF FOR THE UMPTEENTH TIME) FIGURED I'D GET A BOX SET FROM E-BAY TO ASSIST WITH THE MESS.

IMAGINE MY HORROR WHEN IT ARRIVED AND TURNED OUT TO BE A PARTICULARLY BAD FAKE FROM THE FAR EAST!! POOR GRAPHICS AND ORANGE FACES PEEERING OUT AT ME FROM A SHODDY FADED PINK BOX. THE WAFER THIN POLY COTTIN P,J'S WERE THE FINAL INSULT. LIGHTING UP THE ROOM LIKE A STATIC INDUCED NEW YORK SKYLINE, HOW VERY UN-SARAH JESSICA PARKER!! not very good standard i was disapointed with them. at least 6 dvds freeze or jump in different places and the box was not in perfect condition wen they arrived.

This is the one of the best series ever i would suggest this to everyone. All about four girls and their lives in the city it is not only a girly series everyone would be able to get into it.

An excellent way to either start from the very beginning, catch up on episodes they you may have missed or just yo keep enjoying the moment.
The only down side to a shoebox set, is that the actual box seems to get either damaged in the post, or sometimes the seller may forget to mention that the box is already damaged! Surely not! Either way if anyone is thinking of buting a shoebox, be sure to ask not only what condition the discs are in, but also the state of the box.

As a guy, these DVDs don't interest me much at all. However, I would recommend any man to buy this for their partner/girlfriend/wife as a birthday present or hey, just as a gift....as it is guaranteed to make them happy. Perhaps slightly more than chocolate, I am not sure. Buy the complete series and you can be rest assured that your wife will happily sit on the sofa for hours, very content. You could even nip out for a beer or two and she won't notice or mind.

I did not receive the item as the seller was bogus. They did not reply to any of my emails or other communications. Unfortunatly I had paid through paypal so they already had my funds. However, I opened a dispute and eventually received the funds back.

I would be more cautious with ebay purchases in the future, particularly when they cost as much as this did!

fantastic boxset containing all 6 series of sex and the city. a must have for any woman its great! everyone should have this in there dvd collection. boxed really nicely in limited edition shoebox!

I like the fact is was brand new! and cheap to buy! The discription about the item was very honest. I brought the item for those reasons and I was looking for the item to buy anyway.

This item was bought as a present for my girlfriend, can't really give you a review of the material as I hate the program, it's chick TV!! But she loves it, she was originally going to buy a few of the series on DVD, but i gave her a nice suprise and bought her the shoebox set. The package is very neat, much smaller than I expected and is well presented with hours & hours & hours of girly TV!!

Excellent for any real SATC fan, having every episode ever is great! Only one problem- there's nothing in the box only the DVD's. It would be great to have a little guide to accompany the DVD's. Still well worth it.

I bought this as a Christmas present for someone close to me and they absolutely adore it. It's plush inside and is very girly in design- well worth it for it's beauty as well as content. And of course- it goes with her pink entertainment system nicely :s

This is a great product, each series just gets better and better until the final episode which is fantastic, i would also say that it is the perfect present for anyone who is a real fan of Sex and the City.

Being a big sex and the city fan I was very happy to find the whole DVD collection in the original shoe box.
