The acting was wooden, the plot was very thin, the actresses are now mainly so old, warty and ugly looking, but that didn't stop me crying all the way through it. Nice girly flick!

I have never watched the series so was a little sceptical about seeing the film but it was by far the best film I have seen this year.

It had me in fits of laughter and then floods of tears! I would highly recommend this movie. My date at the time also watched it and even though its a "Chick Flick" he thoroughly enjoyed it also!

A definate Must see!

Absolutely brilliant. It follows well from the TV series. Equally as good. Will enjoy watching it over snd over again. Proper girly movie all the way. Typical wine and chocolate night in! lol. xx

Amazing!! - I loved the tv series, but the film is just wow! It was so much better than i expected. So many ups and downs throughout, quite the tearjerker which i didnt expect from sex and the city, but i was glued until the end! Would deffo recommend!!! ;0)

Well as a certain ad might say...it does exactly what it says on the tin. Bought it for my wife, and she enjoyed it with her girlie pals (whilst I escaped and had a lads night out...so good value by all!!!)

I bought this film as i really enjoyed the tv series.I had a real roller coaster of emotions whilst watching the film.Laughter, tears, ahhh and of course jealousy over the fantastic clothes.An absolutely great film.

This film is awesome! Seen it twice at the movies and I just had to purchase the DVD. Buy it, you'll love it. I'd followed the programme through Series 1-6, so I knew the story line of the movie. But I've known some people not see the series and still love it!

I liked that we got a chance to see how the girls lives had moved on since the show ended. There were a few surprises and emotional scenes, It was amazing, well recommended!

I love this film as it is really funny and it is great all the way till the end i could watch it over and over again you want get a better film anyone that has not seen it, go and buy it you will love it from start till end.

As we aready had the TV series,we decided to buy the film.
It seemed some-what slower in pace than the TV series,maybe a case of "dumbing down" for people who hadn`t seen it on TV.
The four main actresses play their roles well,special mention must go to Kristin Davis in the "Too late for City Hall" scene.
When she screams at "Big" in the street,there is real emotion & anger there!
The warmth the girls have for each other comes across as natural & real,which is felt by the viewer,right to the end.
Overall,it lacks the edge that the TV series had,but still a good film to watch.

Carrie at her best! The other girls in this were fab too. Not to be watched with your partner or you may be caught crying in parts. Some fantastic ideas in the movie. What girl wouldn't want that ring!!!!

great for fans of the show and even greater for non fans. if you've never seen the show u won't miss out as the film gives you a catch up of the characters lives. really good. funny and sad and heart warming and sexy a film for everyone.

Good chick flick - some good laughs, some sad bits and lots of bits you can identify with! Super for a night in with the girls and a bottle of wine (or two)n a takeaway!!

This was a great film, although you knew the ending from the begining but thats the same with most chick flicks!! A must see for sex and the city fans.

The best known girls in New York a few years ago transfer to the big screen. Very entertaining, a great chick flick.

This is a perfect chick flick. I have never seen the series but went to the cinema to see this when it was released and I have to say it was amazing! I have never felt so many emotions during one film. At parts I was in tears with laughter and then others tears of sorrow! A definate tear jerker for those emotional ladies like myself but well worth the watch! Grab yourself a box of choccies and a glass of rose and cosy up on the couch with a cushion and watch this film. A perfect way to spend an evening!

It was good to see the girls again, they are aging well and the plot was ok enough - except for ...... WHO the hell thought up the awful, supposedly comic, scene where Charlotte (of all people!) 'poops'????? just not funny at all, puerile and pathetic - and if that's what would make tragic Carrie laugh again then she wouldn't be much of a friend .... it spoilt the film for me. Shame.

Didnt get a chance to see sex and the city whilst it was on in the cinemas!! Figured I was probably the only person to not go and see it and so decided to buy it!!
Great film... cant wait for the follow up !

I loved the series' and Loved the Movie :)
However I do think that for someone who has not seen the series it may not be a great choice of Movie. I think that you need to know the history of the Characters to appreciate the Movie properly :)
