Review: Seven Pounds...

From Gabriele Muccino, the Director of The Pursuit Of Happyness comes Seven Pounds. Will Smith stars as Ben, an IRS agent who is depressed and guilt-ridden about mistakes from his past. He sets out to make amends by helping seven strangers. When he meets Emily (Rosario Dawson), a beautiful woman with a heart condition, he falls in love with her, thereby complicating his plans. Woody Harrelson also appears as a blind pianist who befriends Ben.


My Review: Brilliant movie & it had me in tears, it's a very brilliant directed film about what one man will do to get over guilt and meets the love of his life. Will smith plays his party very good

An incredible film that leaves wondering what more we can do to help. Every twist and turn is sublte and leaves wanting to watch the film again and again. Be prepared for tears though!!

Borrowed this film from a friend and had to buy my own copy!
Will Smith is excellent and the film is full of quality acting, plot & story line. Although I don't think it could be classed as a 'thriller' it keeps you on the edge of your seat because you have a good idea of what is going to happen from the openeing scene. As the story line progressed I found myself hoping that it wouldn't end as the opening scene suggested..... I won't spoil the ending, but would recommend to anyone who likes a serious film with thought provoking themes.
If you are going to watch this, get the tissues ready .........

Saw this at the cinema, and decided to buy dvd to watch again. There are so many details in this film to keep you guessing. Excellent, heartwarming and sad all in equal measures. Even better to watch 2nd time round. Will Smith gives great performance and the story is brilliantly written. It is hard to write a review about this without giving away the story - far better to watch it and make up your own mind.

A really interesting film - you will need to pay attention right from the start as it's one of those with flash backs to the beginning. It does have a 'love interest' but with an unusual end - a MUST SEE ....

Fantastic film starring Will Smith. First watched it on a plane and had to get hubby to get tissues from the overhead luggage compartment !! A real tear-jerker. Really makes you think about your life. Great acting, fantastic story. I would highly recommend this film 5*

Very emotional film. Brilliant quality and Will Smith hits an all time high again! Definately recommend this DVD to anyone.

This film is a very touching story, from begining to end. Ben Thomas feels responsible for causing seven deaths and is on a mission to repay them. Very sad ending indeed. I bought this film because I love a really good drama with a brilliant story line.
