After having a set of wireless sonys and never being happy with them, I brought the RS110 for me to use at work, love them so much a got a set of RS120s for home. The volume and tuning dials could be further apart, my old rs110s need replacing now as the volume control is crackly, and the headphones have slowly stretched out of shape and no longer grip my head.
But a wireless product that really works, the cheaper ones I have tried are useless in comparision.
range is great, can use them all over the house, sound quality excellent for wireless headphones. Will replace my rs110s with sennheiser again.

Sennheiser RS120 Better then most, but worth the price?
Review created: 26/03/09

The Sennheiser RS 120 are light and easy to use. The ear pads are eassily removed (unlike most other headphones!), one slight turn to the left and click-they're off!
The base unit in my oppinion is the best feature of these headphones. It looks quite flash and hangs on the wall so that you can pop your headphones on to charge. They definately don't look out of place next to your modern TV or hi-fi.
The sound quality to be honest is nowhere near what I expected it to be. Although it's crisp and clear, the bass could be a little better and the backround 'hiss' you get sometimes can be quite annoying! Having said that, I have to date, never heard through any wireless headphones without hiss, but I have heard through heaphones with a better bass response. Namely the Phillips 2.4GHz RF Headphones.
Oh yes, if like me you have a larger than normal head size (not large I may add!), these headphone might feel a bit tight on your ears after a long film (or two!).
All in all, good sound, good quality thoughout, but a bit pricy at around £55!

I bought these on an impulse really, I fancied the idea of being able to listen to my audio without being confined to six feet from the amplifier! The headphones are well made and extreemly comfortable to wear, but didn't reproduce the deep bass my ordinary ones are capable of. Since then I have improved my speaker set up and don't listen through headphones any more. Don't let me put you off though, I'm sure they'd be perfectly fine for a lot of people. Just not my thing, if I was to be brutally honest about them.

What can I say about this headphones? Sennheiser is one of the icons in headphones world. They produce a great sound and it's design is superb. Of course it's not a "Bang & Olufsen" but in the other hand the price isn't the same also. But for me the best characteristic of this headphones is it's wireless capability. I can go around me place, in to the yard, through
the garden and they continue pumping up the music! I recommend it. Probably the best buy I did in Ebay.
This seems a cheap advertise but it's not. I'm very satisfied with it.

Best regards,
Miguel

Excellent sound Quality that you have come to expect from Sennheiser, good distance with Great clarity, Unfortunately it is true what other reviewers say that they fall off your head far to easily and the Volume and tune switch could be on different sides but all in all a good set of rechargeable wireless headphones.

Needed a pair of wireless headphones for Tv, movies and the ps3. I was looking for something low-mid price with decent sound quality and above all consistent reception. These sennheiser rs120 tick all the boxes, they're very comfortable and feel weightless on your head even after extended use.

Set up is very easy just hook up the power and connect the audio cable to the headphone jack of the peripheral you want to use. The receiver has 3 channels and it takes a matter of seconds to tune in.

Sound quality is great with good bass, even out in the back garden !

Buy these ;)

Sennheiser RS 120 - Great Wireless Headphones
Review created: 20/02/09
by:

Excellent sound for a reasonable price. Simply plug the base unit into the mains and the 3.5 mm jack plug into the headphone socket of your hifi or mp3 player and once the base unit detects a signal it turns on and transmits to the headset. The system has 3 radio channels (in case one suffers from interference just switch the base unit and headset to another)and a volume control on the headset. For best sound use high volume on the mp3 player to avoid too high a volume on the headset. The overal sound is excellent. The RS 120 also allows the headset batteries to recharge whilst hung on the base unit. The RS 110 is the same as the RS 120 but without this charging facility so, although cheaper, can leave you soundless with flat batteries.
Any complaints? Just one minor gripe and thats that the headset can slip off if you are too energetic. I have no regrets with my purchase.

  OK, but not great.
Review created: 03/01/09

Great idea having a recharge stand. The ear pieces are sponge, which is not very comfortable. Tuning them is fiddly and can easily be bumped and loose their tuning. Mine pick up ITV from somewhere, I guess the neighbours have a transmitter which is interfering.

All in all, I am happy given the price, but they are not brilliant.

he thing that originally put me off bidding on these headphones is that when i checked othe reviews they had described the sound quality as average.
Although there isnt lots of bass texture in the sound, the sound quality is immpeccable and i am glad i made the desision to purchase such good headphones with great wireless range!!!

The good the bad and the ugly!!
Review created: 30/05/08

These headphones miss excellent because of the ugly design of the base unit.. over large especially for traveling..(sony is one quarter of the size)..and fiddley to connect the plug into the unit...And now the good bits COMFORT ..having read lots of reviews I expected to find the headphones comfortable immediately..They weren't..they take getting used to as they are larger than average..only after two days of wearing them solidly did I realise just how comfortable they are..when I didnt even know I had them on !!and they didnt fall off while I was gardening....The BATTERY LIFE is awesome I cant say how long as I have been wearing them for four days..all day and all evening and they are going strong ..RANGE..I have worn them in the greenhouse at the far end of my garden well over 100 feet..perfect and at my friends house next door ..perfect...Now to the ''THE SOUND'' not the best headphones I have owned but a rich clear sound where the bass mid and treble come throught well..better than sennheiser noise cancelling headphones..on a par with sony ..but not as good as bose overall a very good buy (second hand on ebay 20 pounds) which I very am pleased with..

  Maximise your privacy and conveniency
Review created: 04/05/08

There are many you can expect from a Sennheiser wireless headphone. The very reason why I bought it, is becasue I don't like to interupt my girlfriend's sleeping when I watch TV or listen to music late at night.

The quality of the headphone is better than I first expected. With a wireless function, you can expect a high mobility with this product as it allows you to walk to anywhere in the house even the garden, yet still be able to listen to the music!

One bad thing is being a tiny frequency distortion when it is turned on. This noise is noticiable but will dimish soon after you have the music into play. I wasn't too fussy since I am more concern the conveniency and comfortability it provides.

Considering the pros and cons, as well as the price paid, I do considered it as a good buy and would recommand it to anyone.

A good headphone in its day but it has now been surpassed by the later Sennheiser models and various other well known brands. OK for a budget wireless headphones but it it prbably worth spending an extra 15 or 20 quid to get a relatively up to date model.

  Sennheiser RS 120 cordless headphones
Review created: 09/03/08

Bought these for my husband who often wants the TV volume higher than is comfortable for me. Once they have been tuned in to the TV they give excellent quality sound even if you go into the garden or another room. The volume can be adjusted on the side of the headphones and they are very comfortable to wear. When the headphones are not in use they sit on a special stand that recharge the batteries.
Only problem we have is that once you plug the headphone jack into our TV, that cuts the sound off from the TV speakers. Luckily we have a "home theatre system" with extra speakers so I hear the TV through them at the volume that is comfortable for me.
Overall, we are delighted with them!

  Very Useful Headphones
Review created: 03/03/08
by:

I bought these because I have difficulty hearing some sounds, particularly difficult are American, Australian and Indian accents.
These headphones certainly clarify the sounds and I don't miss the whispering any more. They are good for surround sound effect as well. I like the way that I can walk away from the sound source and the sound stays the same.
The only thing I find annoying is that they fall off if I bend forwards, so provided that I sit or walk upright they work well.

  Wireless Headphones
Review created: 01/03/08

A very good quality headphone, very comfortable, easy to use: volume control and tuning control. No reception problems around the house.

Only negative point is that the headphone doesn’t clamp very firmly to your head, and they will slide off if you are facing down. But it's that balance between comfort and tightness. So, not suitable for use with any aerobics activities. Other complaint is that it did not come with any phono connectors.
