Sennheiser HD 215 Professional Headphones

After my first pair of these headphones proved themselves on more occasions than I can remember when DJing live, I was heart broken when I damaged them beyond repair (Black headphones + black leather seat + huge bum = snapped cans) - so I spent some time tracking down a new pair (guess what, ebay was a fiver cheaper - including p&p) because I simply HAD to have the same model.

I can't tell you how comfy, clear, perfectly pitched, flexible and ideal they are for DJing, be it bedroom, club, or event. They are simply the best headphones available at this price range (which is odd, as I would have estimated them at a higher price bracket because of their sterling quality).

If you buy these, and you really should, you'll be really happy with them for a long time to come. Just as long as you don't sit on them that is...

These headphones proved to be so good for their price that I bought a second pair to give it as a gift to my mom that rans a small recording studio!

They are sure a little bulky and not ideal to take them out of home or place of work (if you work as a Dj) but they are quite comfortable wearing them and the sound they produce is very clear!

The only bad thing is that ears can get a little sweaty after long listening periods due to their leather pads, but I suppose this is necessary to prevent any sound from leaking out

On the whole, these are very good headphones; they are very confortable to wear, yet rugged enough to last for a long time and the mid and high frequencies are awesome. At this point I must say that the bass response could have been a little better; it is not disappointing at all, just not the tops.
The cost-quality ratio is very attractive, though today probably I would pay something more and try out the HD 270 (I must point out here that the 270's cost around twice as much as the 215's)

I needed a pair of head phones that would close out surrounding noise while I worked,practiced or listened to music or watched video the Sennheiser HD 215 Professional Headphones fitted the bill perfectly. With the large ear covering soft filled comfortable ear pads making the headphones a joy to wear.

I picked up an as new set for £35 delivered no box or instructions hence the price, I've heard of large outlet stores letting these go for £40 complete in sales.

As well as great noise reduction the Sennheiser HD 215 Professional Headphones are very well priced for a headphone thats sounds so incredible, I'm far from being and expert but I can say that being able to hear music spread out in front of you as if you where listening to a live band is incredible. The right ear cup will also pivot through 90 degrees allowing me for example to listen to a pc based metronome or backing track while I practice playing on my acoustic or electric guitar with the right ear uncovered.

headphones are fantastic, he only problem with my order was that i got sent the wrong headhones originally, which turned out not to be the fault of the seller (dont ask how). however, i sent the wrong ones back and received my sennheisers and they are fantastic, they cup out virtually all noise, have a fantastic bass and mid to them, and are well worth it.

Love the design of these headphones, they're very comfortable. The packaging is excellent too. But they do seem to distort when the volume or bass goes too high, which is a shame. Pretty good though.

These are full, over-the-ears headphones, light enough and well enough padded that they can be worn for extended periods. They are quite low impedance, so they pump out a good chunk of volume even from relatively underpowered sources such as an mp3 players and laptop computers (I use mine maninly with a computer). Musical reproduction is outstanding: rich, detailed and deeply satisfying - and all the more remarkable bearing in mind the very modest price.

Nice headphones, good build quality and very comfy.

Perfect for at home and casual use but lack the bass and sound quality for professional DJ'ing or sound production (you should be spending in the £100's for a set like that to be fair though!)

Excellent for the price though and would recommend them to anybody who will be using these for casual use.

i bought these headphones for my pc music, playing xbox and bass guiter
and have not been dissapointed at all. great bassy sound, very comfortable to wear for long periods(like on xbox live)!

highly recommended to anyone, after having lots of different sony headphones and not being that impressed

Headphones arrived promptly and in great condition. I would buy from here again if I need new audio equipment. Recommended.

Fantastic sound. Went for them cos Ive always used Sennheisers and Im yet to find anything to beat them for DJ's.
