I bought these headphones from an eBay seller about a week ago, and I can honestly say that these headphones are amazing!
After putting up with my horrible iPod headphones for far too long, I decided to invest in a decent pair of headphones, and the CX300 seemed to fit what I needed perfectly.
The good:
-The headphones come packaged with three different sizes of earphone sleeve adapters (or earbud adapters, whatever you want to call then :P) so most ear sizes are catered for, the "medium" size being almost a perfect fit for me.
-The headphones block external noise VERY well. I no longer need to crank up the volume to maximum in order to hear my music on the tube or when commuting, I rarely need to up the volume past half way.
-Bass reproduction is excellent, much better than the bog standard iPod heaphones, it blew my ears away!
- The cable is the asymmetrical "J" design which allows you to loop it behind your neck, reducing the chance of the cable getting caught on clothing and getting pulled out of your ears.
-The headphones are extremely lightweight and comfortable to wear/use.
The Bad:
-The only bad point about these heaphones is that you do get a bit of "cable rustle" which happens when the cable rubs up against clothes or other objects, but you soon forget about it and don't take much notice once you have used the headphones for a few days.

Overall, I rate these headphones 5/5 and I definitely recommend buying them, but beware of cheap imitations!

Available in black or silver the CX300's are stereo ear-canal headphones with powerful, bass-driven stereo sound for listening "on the move".In practice they sound as good as they say they do on the box, fitting comfortably in the ear. This is further helped by the inclusion of three different sized ear adapters to fit most people and these come in small, medium and large. Because of the snug fit, ambient noise is virtually reduced to nothing so you ought to realize you must be more aware of your surroundings i.e. traffic, Warning sounds ect. But as they fit right into the ear they don't annoy others on the street and more importantly on the train, the CX300s performed very well. Also beware there is also some cheap copies around but there is a seller on Ebay who shows and explains how to identify the genuine product.

the ones i bought from pnphardy850 were fake so after a long argument i got a refund but if you buy genuine headphones you wont want better. the bass on these headphones is just fantastic and they block out nearly all background noise, infact i can drive my car with them in with the window open and cant hear the wind noise at all

Sennheiser CX 300 headphones
The Sennheiser CX 300 headphones are extremely good headphones, i had several pairs of headphones before purchasing these Sennheisers and i can safely say that these are the best quality headphones that I own, due to the unique design they are comfortable and have noise reducing qualities thanks to the in ear pieces which come in three sizes, small, medium and large to ensure a tight fit.
This means that you can listen to music anywhere without having to turn up the volume to the point where the person next to you can hear it?
The bass on these headphones are brilliant much better than any other headphones including ipod ones!
The issues:
1. i felt that the wire for these headphones could have done with being slightly longer for if you want to put your mp3/4 device into a deep pocket, but still a good length.
2. watch out for fakes, i own a pir of these Sennheiser headphones and thanks to the ebay help page:

I was able to lower the chance of them being fake, use this page before buying especially if the price is too good to be true!
I would give these a 4.5/5 rating the main reason for this is the fact that the wire is a little too short for my liking but you can't fault the sound quality!

Chris (stave84) sells these superb, genuine Sennheiser earbuds at less than half retail price. They are so good that I cannot bear to be without a pair! And I've bought them for my family too! iPods sound so dull on 'normal' and uncomfortable in-ear 'phones - these CX300s really supercharge the audio experience. AND they sound better than the B&Os or Shure EC3s. Maximum value & maximum enjoyment.

The seller did not mention anywhere Personal Collection is not allowed. Hence I bid planning for collecting the Sennheiser CX 300 Headphone in person as many are selling fake ones. Foundout Her eBay phone number and contact details are fake.
However the Seller demanded P&P of £4.99 even for collection and said no inspection of the Item is allowed. I also receievd a anynymous phone call later where in a Male person spoke in abusive language and threatening to cause damage to my House as he has got my address. Will
As I find this Transaction dodgy I am not paying.
Will never deal next time and wont yield to any threats.

Great earphones, ideal for many buyers as the are compatible with a majority of MP3,CD Players on today market. What i like the most about this product is that there are different sized ear-rings included in the product which makes them even more versatile as they will fit most people ears snugly.
The sound quality of these earphones is remarkable! They really do block out any environmental sounds and stresses and this makes your music on the move even more enjoyable! Would recommend to all as:
1) The price is affordable to all
2) Cannot beat the sound quality for this selling price...The earphones are of a good quality and are adaptable to most needs

These are great in-ear headphones that deliver powerful bass considering their tiny size. They are available in black and white (to go with my ipod) and have three sizes of plastic inserts to fit the ear (I find medium fits best). They seem to leak very little sound so don't annoy fellow travellers but also cut out most extraneous sound. Because of this I wouldn't recommend them to lone late-night walkers or to joggers. They can be a bit disconcerting at first because they also transfer the sound of your own movement to your ears, but you soon get used to it. For the price, they are brilliant.

Nice entry level headphones. I have always had problems fitting this kind of headphone in my ear due to the way the little rubber bits fit into your ear. Was at first skeptical about these headphones but thought why not give them a try.
On a five hour flight abroad I thought this was a perfevt oppurtunity to test them out and on doing so I was very impressed. First of all the fit was perfect and they would not fall out. Secondly the sound these headphones produce is awesome. On listening to five hours of trance (tiesto) i just could not fault them. The clarity was way above average and every minute sound was picked up through the headphones. They have a nice and not to heavy bass drive behind them and the treble is quite balanced.
Upon Purchasing these headphones I have started to use my I-pod on a daily basis because I enjoy the sound that these headphones produce. I would definatley recommend these headphones if you are looking to spend up to £60 pounds and a set.

Very comfortable headphones, can wear for long amounts of time with no irritation. I can not hear anything apart from the music when they are in my ears. 8/10 for sound quality, just wish it had slightly more bass (that does sound silly but the sony version of these headphones have a lot more bass).
Despite this, not far off of my old Bose In-Ear headphones I used to have.

These are my second pair of these earbuds. I bought the first pair about 4 yrs ago to replace my stock air of ipod buds. The ipod ones blew a speaker when I was listening to music, on my motorbike.
The sennheiser ones worked like a charm. They fit snugly into the ear canal and block out all but the loudest of external noises, so the music is crystal clear.
I also love how tough these little buggers are. My first pair have been used while i've been running and riding my motorbike, so the helmet on/off action would give quite a bit of punishment to the joint between wire and bud, but they're still in perfect condition.
In truth, I only bought these to have a spare set, in case the first ones get damaged on a long biking trip i'm taking.
I would highly recommend these earbuds to anyone.

Sound quality (of the real CX300) is bit above average, although it isnt much to rave about.
I cut off the handsfree off an older sony ericcson and replace the end with a 3.5mm jack after a bit of soldering.
The sony earphones sounds way better than CX300.
Also be careful when you buy online and the price seems too good to be true. Some products do look like Sennheiser, but are spurious make. Sound will be tinny with no bass at all.
Ask your seller for a refund and look elsewhere..preferably a retail outlet.

Having read glowing reports of the CX 300 headphones, I was looking foward to receiving them. What a disappointment! The cheap cans that were supplied with my mp3 player produce a far better sound. I expected a great bass responce but all I get is an okay mid-range, very clear treble but not the beautiful rich bass tones I anticipated. While these phones are nicely constructed and packaged, the great value price coupled with the poor quality sound leads me to believe they may not be the genuine article. I even tried them on my Class A amplifier and thew still proved unsatisfactory.

Sennheiser CX 300 - Great earphones at a great priceOwned a pair of these earphones for about 4 years and after lots of use, the right earphone stopped working. Loved them so much decided to buy the exact same ones again to replace them. The thing I love most is the bass, for the cost, there are no other earphones out there with such good bass response as well as keeping the highs and mids. Great earphones, even better price.

worst headphonesBought these earphones because I already had a pair of sennheiser headphones. my old pair are great around the house but poor outside. Got the cx300 for outdoor use because of the in ear type work better outdoors. This pair however sound worse than a 99p pair quality of the sound is bad even with bass off of my ipod. All distortion never had a pair so bad and to say real price is around £30. Would'nt recomend them to my worst enemies? Sennheiser are a fantastic brand but what went wrong with these?

In condition as described! Despatched very fast!Item received as described (brand new, unopened box)... despatched very quickly! Also included a free mini-rubik's cube which provided me hours of fun! Headphones are excellent... sound quality superb for in-ears.
