This film follows the life of a Latin American Tejano singer "Selena" from the start to its peak,her untimely death.It is the ideal opportunity for Jennifer Lopez to combine her acting ability with a succession of songs that could have been written for her own and to which she does full justice. The story line is a little tame and often predictable but if you like the early-style Jennifer Lopez or the pulsating Latin beat you will watch this again and again. Leribe.
