The Selecter - Greatest Hits

Being a Rude Boy back in the day I thought it was about time I had all of the Selcter's best stuff on CD.
All the greats are here, it starts off with 3 Minute Hero and moves swiftly on to Too Much Pressure possibly the best way this album could have started, Pauline Blacks vocals and the driving sounds of the band get you ready for the rest of the tracks by making you tap your feet without even realising you're doing it.
The CD includes the brilliant On My Radio, James Bond and Missing Words as well as many of the minor hits such as Time Hard and Carry go Bring Come, but the one that got me singing at the top of my voice is the outstanding The Whisper.
My Wife, who is 9 years younger than I and was not really aware of the Two-Tone era, is now a big fan especially after Miss Black stopped a concert we attended a few years ago because the people bouncing around were crushing the her. She has already got the album in the car and will introduce everyone who gets into the motor with her to the great sound of the most underestimated Ska band of the Two-Tone era, The Selecter.
