See No Evil, Hear No Evil (DVD 2000)

This is a film that makes no bones about getting a laugh out of disability, and the above reviewer simply believes that the only value to be gained from films is a fair presentation (if only!) and morality. However, it is one thing to accuse of film that promises but does not deliver, and another thing to accuse a film of something it never promised to deliver. Notwithstanding the aforementioned moralism, the humor is done with affection, and more than a dose of tongue-in-cheek by two gifted actors, Gene Wilder and the late, great Richard Pryor. The comic intensity and plot line is sustained, all of the way through the film, with the car chase is probably being the highlight of the film. Kevin Spacey is, well, a strange choice for this role, but he suits it quite well. All in all, a good comedy.

Seven foot tall. Four hundred pounds. A rusty steel plate screwed into his skull and razor sharp fingernails that pluck out his victims' eyes like grapes from a fruit bowl. Meet reclusive psychopath Jacob Goodnight (Kane, heavyweight WWE wrestling star) holed up in the dilapidated Blackwell Hotel with nothing but his nightmares for company. That is until eight delinquents arrive for community service duty, along with the cop that put a bullet through Goodnight's head four years before...and the game is on against this indestructable force of nature with a major grudge.

If you haven't seen this film before i seriously advise that you stop what you are doing now and go and rent or buy it. It is by far, one of the funniest film ever made.
Richard Pryor (Genius) and Gene Wilder (legend) make an amazing team in more ways than one.
Picture the scene. A murder is committed right under their noses and the blind guy couldn't see it. the deaf guy couldn't hear it and now they are both wanted for it.
PLEASE, PLEASE just go out and get this movie as soon as possible.

Someone reminded me of this film a short while ago and a couple of the scenes sprang to mind it made me laugh just thinking of it. I just had to get it I wasn't disapointed It was as funny as I remember it. If you like comedy and have never seen it then you should definitly get it. Its an oldy but goody.

Wally and Dave / Gene Wilder and Richard Prior are hilarious together = great fun for all, highly recomended! everyone must see this film!

it was a good comedy but i had a refund dur to falty dubbing for the seller to blame my dvd player which wasnt at fault

It may have slightly cheesy plot....reeks of the 80's..BUT I haven't laughed so hard in ages..quality film.

this is a classic comedy film wich of the likes does not exist any more sure you get funny films today but nothing like this when youve seen it you never tire of watching it again and again.

I first see this film when it first came out, We was talking about it one night and my patener said that she had never seen it, so knowing it was an excellent film I bought it and really enjoyed seeing it again

saw a bit of it on telly but couldn t watch it all so got it off ebay.
this has to be the most well thought out and funniest film i have ever seen, me and my children could all watch it and it was appropriate for all their ages (3-11)
t has all the usual film qualities on friendship and trust without going too slushy!
i would recommened this film to everyone!

funny as they come a must see film gives good laughs recommended viewing - a bit of an action film but one for the girls as well !

GREAT FILM - I LOVE THE OLD 80'S SLAPSTICK COMEDY, IT'S A GOOD OLD FILM THAT NEVER LOSES IT'S MAGIC!

the story is good but the language used is a bit strong...I think most of the movies now tent to put a lot of strong language don't now why but i prefer without it -Just a good and educated way of speaking is good for everyone and special for the new generation

the story line is fantastic, we saw it years ago and loved it, so when we saw it for sale we had to buy it.

Extremely funny movie, laughed from beginning to end,
Such a good team of actors, - brought a smile on a Sunday afternoon

This is a DVD that a friend of mine has been trying to get the hold of for over a year, so i told her that i would try a get it for her. Lo and behold its amazing what is available for sale on ebay. The result = one very happy woman. If you have never seen this film before, try and get to see it, you will laugh that much you will be crying.
