The Sebo “Felix” is a compact upright vacuum cleaner designed for owners who want something which is smaller than the X range of uprights but by no means any less easier to use. You may not want to read about a vacuum which uses bags however since everyone raves on about bagless vacuums which save on cost but on the reputation alone that Sebo are number one for reliability and longevity, have hospital grade filters and build vacuums on the strength of quality and versatility. Before purchasing I compared the Felix to Dyson’s DC14 Slim model and the Felix is still smaller by quite a difference in size against power and versatility. 1. 1000 watt to 1300 watt variable suction power. 67dbl rated at total power, 53dbl at lowest– much quieter than any Dyson.

5. Height adjustable handle with three positions options of height available. When the hose is removed in use, the floor roller brush stops moving either in the upright position or with the handle pushed down.

6. 9.5 metre long cable with easy to unhook and wind up cord hooks; handle also incorporates rubber bumper at the back to minimise scraping as well as a hook for hanging the whole machine on a wall.

7. 3.5 three layer self sealing filtration bag, with external filter cover wall and motor filter classed as S Class/ HEPA – Ideal for pet owners and consumers with dust allergies. Bags cost £7-95 for 10 and one bag can last up to three months generally, each depending on dirt collected. Prices on average range from £5-95 to £9-95 online.

8. 6.7 kg weight with electronic head attached; unlocked weight is cut to 5kg with lightweight Parquet Deluxe floor head attachment also supplied, or no floor heads at all.

9. Bags and filters cost independently from each other, £7-95 for a box of ten bags, filters at £3-95 and £6-95 for the front filter. 3.5 litre bag and HEPA/S Class filters match hospital grade standards.

10. Sebo have a 5 year free parts, labour warranty currently on their whole range when bought brand new and from an authorised dealer.

Simplicity is the key to the Sebo Felix, right down to changing the filters whilst the deep 3.5 litre paper bags have seal hats already fitted and only needs to be dropped down into the main bag assembly which also has a top fill design meaning more paper bag and less waste.

If there is one reason to why you should consider a Sebo Felix however, its the fact that it is very quiet and able yet versatile and has more than one function alone for cleaning up after you and your family. Single home occupiers will also adore the Felix for its amount of power and compactness.
