Album Notes Deuter's recordings have always unfolded from a place of stillness, taking their inspiration from nature. On SEA AND SILENCE, he goes one step further by incorporating the actual sound of ocean waves into his songs. The tide arrives and withdraws in steady rhythm, as flute, piano, and synthesizer make their wistful comments.Silence, too, has its say. The compositions here are sparse and unhurried, making them ideal aural partners in healing and bodywork. In the midst of all the slow unwinding, the gentle walking pace of "Seven Sacred Pools" comes as a refreshing splash of playfulness.
