Scream (DVD 2004)

Scream" does not seem like the kind of movie that could make you appreciate American cinema. If you haven't seen it, then you're probably viewing it as just another silly slasher flick that creates more laughs than scares. On the contrary. This movie IS filled with plenty of scares and satirizes the horror genre in a way that literally has turned this film into a masterpiece. I guarantee you that while you may not love it you'll be highly amused by this one. A-

i had a girls night in and we scared are selves silly and i love the scream 1 and loved number 2 and 3 the best and i hope to scare the rest of my famliy very soon thanks for a grest dvd set box

the box set are a christmas gift fo my son.who i know will enjoy them .hes in to horror films,i have being trying for a long time to get the box set,I do know hes been wanting to buy them ,when they first came out.he will have hours of fun watching these horrors,i would not watch them has i do not like horrors.i dont know who acting in the horrors as i am not in to them .

love all it keeps u on the edge of your seat. its good how they have followed on the sequeals and keep u guessing rite to the end of the film who actually are the killers. i was a bi dissapoined o hoe scream 1 ended but in a way it keeps u on the edge to the next sequel but apart from that i was really pleased i brought this item it is a must havein all film lovers

love these films, scary in parts and makes very good entertainment. this is a film i would deffinatly reccommend to friends and family.

I have watched all 3 Scream movies several times and the more i watch them, the more i feel that they are cliches. Through out the movies are typical scenarios when a victim inadveredly gets themselves killed - such as being on their own when they are targets and they know there is a killer out there. However, i do think that the endings are unpredicatable. In the first one i was not suprised about who one of the killers where, but i thought the killer in the 3rd movie was a shock. I would say that they 2nd movie was a bit of in between both movies.
I think that the third movie was good in its explanation of the past and it kind of brought together the other stories from the previous 2 movies.
There are rumours of a 4th Scream movie in the making. I am unsure whether i would like a 4th movie as it was planned at a trilogy and i thought the ending of Scream 3 was the final and it would be extremely confusing if there was another killer as the killers from Scream 1 and 2 were explained in the final of Scream 3 and therefore a Scream 4 would mean that Scream 3 was pointless in its making.
In conclusion, i enjoyed Scream 3 best of all but i think that it should stay as a trilogy as the story has ended on a high.

I have always been a fan of scream films as they were the first "horror/thriller" that i watched, i think the story somewhat cheesy in parts but also keep you on the edge of your seat throughout...difinately up there for me.

All three SCREAM movies are included in special Collector's Editions, with SCREAM 2's Collector's Edition only available with this boxed set. All the scream movies, i would rate them 10/10, with alot of trilogys you think, the first 1 is always the best, but this is not the case with this one, as they are all fantastic, and brilliantly directed by the one and only WES CRAVEN.

The plot is fantastic in scream 1, where we all see the fantastic DREW BARRYMOOR, and her on screen jock boyfriend, get slashed and the start of the film, which sets the rest of the killings in motion, with sidney prescott being the target, she manages to break away and survive, the fantastic twist that its her boyfriend, billy lumis and and his best friend, all because sidneys mother had an affair with his father, and it turns out, he killed her mother too.

in scream 2, the plot gets better, with again the opening scene shows jada pinkett-smith, get slashed in the middle od a fully packed cinema room, where they are all watching the newley released movie stab, about the woodsborough murders, things are starting to happen and everyone is scared, mostly sidney prescott, as she is living it all over again, this time though, the killer is not her new boyfriend, but billy lumis's mother, and sidney survives again.

Scream 3 The kill scenes are excellent… you never know who is going to bite it and they don’t make it obvious who one of the killers are, because there is only one killer. Sidney totally kicks ass at the end by finally stopping her psycho brother which reveals, that evrything that has happened, in scream 1 and 2 has happened because of him, he is sidneys brother that no-one knows about, because her mother didnt want him, which made him go abit pyscho and kill everybody.

these films have a great cast including DREW BARRYMOOR,ROSE MCGOWAN, HENRY WRINKLER, DAVID ARQUETTE, COURTNEY COX-ARQUETTE, NEV CAMPBELL, JAMIE KENNEDY, LIEV SCHRIEBER, SARAH MICHELLE GELLAR, JERRY O'CONNEL, JADA PINKETTE-SMITH, PATRICK DEMPSEY, SCOTT FOLEY AND PARKER POSEY.

This is one of the best triologies out there because it doesn’t fall into the traditional horror movies in the genre and it really has some groundbreaking plot twists and turns… so you never know what is coming next. If you are looking for a great thriller/comedy/suspense… this is the triology for you!
