The movie begins with Cotton Weary driving in L.A. while talking on a cellular phone. And of course someone clicks in and you can only guess who it is-thus begining the traditional Scream opening murder suspense scene. Sidney Prescott has moved down to the Los Angeles area and has basically gone into hiding, working out of her house as a crisis-hotline operator. Gale Weathers is the same as always of course as a bitchy tabloid news anchor. She has written a new novel though which is what the movie inside Scream 2 (STAB) is based except Stab 2 has already been released and they are in production of Stab 3. Dewey is also on the scene as a type of helper on the set. One by one the cast of the film turn up murdered according to script. The old hollywood mansion as the final scene makes a great setting as the surprise twist-final deaths take place. Definately a satisfactory ending that kinda wraps it all up, with some great cameo appearances especially with the video of Randy that was a great touch to keep the 'trilogy-movie buff' type of thing in the movie. The movie goes back to its roots and fills in all the little holes of the first one. Of course the movie may have been a little better with Kevin Williamson's touch but overall it was still great. I went into the movie without having very high expectations at all. I am a very big fan of the original Scream, yet going into Scream 2 I was expecting it to be very good and I was extremely disappointed with the outcome. So going into Scream 3 I just didn't set myself up for the disappointment. But I was very very pleased it was AWESOME Go see this movie if you are a fan of the original.

  Scream 3 Review

I bought the film after watching the previous two 'scream' films. Although I didnt personally think it was as good as the others, I still did enjoy it and found it to be more satirical and more of a horror comedy moreso than the others, which is good if you prefer that sort of thing. I would still recomend it as a one off watch, but dont go out your way to buy the film.

  Scream 3

I loved this film. Really finished off the trilogy to the high standard, excitement and comedy of the first two. I have to say, it did make me laugh in parts (which I'm not sure if it was supposed to be funny or not), but I think that just added to the excitement and brilliance of it.
I think this a film worth buying, even though its quite old... its still a classic.
Its a thumbs up for me. Well done Wes Craven.

  Three's The Charm!
Review created: 14/05/08(updated 14/05/08)

When Randy the video geek rattles off the rules of surviving a horror movie in Wes Craven's Scream, he speaks for a generation of filmgoers who are all too aware of slasher movie clichés. Playfully scripted by Kevin Williamson with a self-aware wink and more than a few nods to its grandfathers (from Psycho to Halloween to the Friday the 13th dynasty), Scream skewers teen horror conventions with loving reverence while re-creating them in a modern, movie-savvy context. And so goes the series, which continues the satirical spoofing by tackling (what else?) sequels while sustaining its own self-contained mythology. Catty reporter Gale Weathers (Courteney Cox) turns grisly murders into lurid bestsellers, a cult of killer wannabes continues to hunt spunky psycho-survivor Sydney Prescott (Neve Campbell) for their 15 minutes of fame, and a cheesy movie series (Stab) develops within the movie series.

i liked the fact it was the last part of a trillogy .it rates very high in the film making department and the story has a real twist at the end .The actors are play the characters well i also like the way it makes you scared.the way the film used the same people in all three of the scream films and the way that they didnt change all the way through.
