The Score (Refugee Camp) [PA] (CD 1996)

I bought this purely for the track 'Killing me softly with his song', which is an all time great and superbly done by the Fugees. My score of good is based upon my love of this single track whilst not being a big fan of the rest of the album

This is an amazing album. I have heard it before but only now decided to buy my own album. Anyone who like rap, regae and r 'n' b will love this cd. Lauren Hill is fantastic. Best songs include 'How many mics', 'Fu-Gee-La' and 'Zealots'. Its a must have :)

An amazing album, that's what! Even if you're not big on rap music, there's enough melody from Lauren Hill for most RnB lovers. The lyrics are deep and inspiring, and most of the tracks have killer hooks that will stay in your head for ages after you turn your CD player off.
"Ready or not, hear I come you can't hide!" lalalala.....

Was good to re-listen to this album after ten years since it was first released. Very clever music, dark and intense. A good, solid album for the collection!

This album reminds me chilling out with friends, listening to music when i was 16/17, (am 26 now) and it is such a relaxing cd. The words are powerful in some songs. I think the time i first heard the album, was good times when i was younger, so i wanted to buy it again to remind me of them. Recommend that people buy it. Fantastic voices

Classic album! Soulful, honest and inevitably a fine piece of music writing. A faultless album, in my eyes. Lauren Hill - beautiful vocals!

the reason i brought it was i did have it then my grandson who was 2years old at the time was using it as a flying saucer so when i sew it. and it was my kind of price. you have make one old lady happy thank you x

Stand out tracks ‘Killing Me Softly’ ‘Ready Or Not’ and the credible cover of Bob Marley’s beautiful ‘No Woman, No Cry’ are musical masterpieces of the highest order. Fantastic album which will continue to stand the test of time for many years, and I don’t even rate Hip Hop. ‘Two Times Times’

i decided to buy this cd because i had damaged my friends cd so it need to be replaced.By accident i had given the seller the wrong postage address and didnt realise until a week later when my item had not come through the post.The item then got returned to the seller.I had previously contacted the seller to inform him that the address i had gave him was wrong and gave him the correct postal address and asked him to forward it to me if it returns back to him. The seller recieved the item back in the post and retiurned it to the correct address.I have to say that i never expected the cd to come my way through my own fault but the seller returned it to me as soon as he recieved it back at his end.I think that this was a very honest and noble thing to do.I have never dealt with such an honest and thoughtful person before on ebay and havent since.People like this are an absoulute credit to ebay. If only all sellers were as honest as this then ebay would be a better place to shop.Most of my transactions on ebay have been good and value for money though i have had one bad experience with a seller and paypal are dealing with this.I dont use ebay much now because my last experience was bad its kind of put me off.
