Brando, De Niro and Norton, of course it's good!

Don't know how I hadn't heard of this film before but I hadn't and I bought it purely on the strength of the cast. Was I disappointed? Not one bit. Norton like to stretch himself and he certainly did in this movie, think 'Rain Man'! De Niro and Brando did what they do best, play themselves.
Its about a score, a heist, a robbery. Does it go to plan? Of course not! Watch it, you won't be disappointed!

Suspense and drama all the way!

As a big fan of Mission Impossible and Entrapment, The Score has an espionage-style plot in terms of an attempt to steal an ancient artifcat and avoid all technical security in the process.

Directed by the master of wit - Frank Oz - and a brilliant cast of Marlon Brando, Robert De Niro and Edward Norton, this movie lives up to the hype that surrounded it's original release.

From the offset the scene is set for an intruiging movie with plenty of edge-of-the-seat meoments. De niro is class as usual whilst he plays the experienced safecracker, but Norton is highly impressive as he plays a character pretending to be worker with learning disabilities. Norton's change of character between the two roles is quite brilliant and there is an excellent twist to the story at the end between Norton and De Niro.

This film is really exciting from start to finish, great stoyline and I love the plot, the cast and the directing. Well worth a watch, especially if you're into movies like MI and Entrapment. 5 stars from me.

A little unknown movie but if you are a fan of Robert Deniro and Ed Norton this is for you. I won't babble on bout the plot find that on other pages. Don't expect gung-ho action because you wont get it, this is a light hearted heist with some expected but amusing twists. It could almost be an episode of the BBC series Hustle. Ed Nortons character is genius but I won't explain it as it will spoil the enjoyment of the opening plot. If you can get this for a couple of quid you have got a great evenings entertainment.

My family has banned me from buying rom coms. So I look out for other stuff we can all enjoy. This is a great movie with a cameo by Brando no less. Not a keeper really - like all thrillers the suspense ain't the same second time round. But worth buying, watching, and selling on, like I did. De Niro is always, always stylish. The only reason this is not up there with Ronin is Jean Reno isnt in it.

The last Big Job, a common crime caper theme but with superb actors, twists, action and slick characters.
Robert De Niro is at his usual best, Edward Norton plays a crafty ambitious tea leaf and Marlon Brando is a greedy fixer.
Very entertaining, gripping thriller, interesting plot, exciting suspense scenes and some excllent acting.
Definetly worth a look.

This is a very clever movie, full of twists and turns that make a good movie less 'obvious' (like some American movies can be!), and keep you thinking. It's a clever idea in the first place, but very well acted by DeNiro/Norton and the late Brando. Norton portrail of a handicapped man is very believable, and not at all distastefull in my opinion.

The only down side, for me, was the unnecessary use of bad language through the movie. I find it pointless to add 'f', 'b' and 'j' words into a sentance. This aside, it is a movie classic in the making, and well worth the 99p I paid for it :D
