For some reason that I don't understand, the title of this review is wrong as the product I purchased was an 8GB M2 Micro and not an 8GB CF Card! I suspect this has something to do with the way the seller had listed the item, but don't know for certain. Consequently, this is a review of an 8GB M2 Micro Memory Stick and not a CF Card, sorry for any confusion!

Wow, I wrote a review some months ago now about the 4GB M2 Micro Memory Stick and everything I said then applies to this newer and greater capacity stick, but twice as much!
As before, be careful if you drop this, it's so small you may not be able to see it on the floor, especially if it's a carpeted room!
The capacity of this newer 8GB version is truly awesome. Around 8,000 songs, 7,400 pictures and up to 88 hours of video. This is one serious piece of memory. Although what I've always said about very large capacity still applies, if you lost the lot, it would be a lot you've lost!
Usually (but not always) packaged with a very useful Pro Duo adapter which allows you to use the memory in Sony PSP, and digital cameras that take a Pro Duo memory stick. It also has Sony Magicgate support.
With a minimum 10MB/Sec read speed you're unlikely to catch this memory out and anything recorded on it should play seamlessly.
This is an excellent memory stick with enourmous capacity and I thoroughly recommend it to anyone who needs one.
Thanks for taking the itme to read this.
