I bought this card for use in a DSLR camera.
At first I was disapointed, as the transfer rates between my card reader and my PC were no different with this card as it was with a standard class4 SDHC (8GB) card. But it soon dawned on me that the actual limitation was not on the part of the card, but on the part of either my card reader or my rig.
While in camera though, the card was performing almost twice as fast as my old Class4 8GB SDHC card. The bonus speed is easily noticeable when working in burst mode with RAW files. Although I don't know if you will notice any significant improvement if you are taking single shots in JPEG.
As far as I'm concerned - recommended product! Just make sure that your own hardware will be able to make practical use of that extra speed.

) This card is working fine. It seems fast enough. Remember that you will need a special SDHD card reader - the standard SD reader will not work with XP Pro sp3. The SDHC card readers only cost a couple of pounds.

SanDisk Extreme III (8 GB) SDHC Card for my Canon G9This is top of the range when it comes to SD cards. The HC defines the card's high capacity. 8gb is plenty for a camera user. I have a Canon G9 which takes images as 12.1 megapixels. This card is good for up to around 3000 pictures. The cards can go up to 16gb but I think its better to have reasonably sized one incase anything happens to it. But with the extreme iii it seems nothing can happen to it. I plan to take this to Tibet and the card is able to handle high altitudes, low to high temperatures and pressures. Perfect for travelers and even just amateur photogrophers.
A highly recommended card, on the expensive side as cards come, but definitely worth the security.
