SanDisk Extreme® III (2 GB) SD Card (SDSDX32048902)

Superb quality, large storage with very fast read/write.
Purchased for use with Vista ReadyBoost on laptop and makes a perceptible difference.

There are supposedly faster cards on the market - I just haven't seen one yet to convince me! This card really delivers! I shoot RAW pictures (about 10Mb a pop) in continuous mode - and my camera hardly needs to buffer - so fast! I have used these Extreme III cards ever since they became available (and affordable) and can't wait until the bigger SDHC sizes come down in price a bit. You won't be disappointed with this one though - blistering fast and the recovery software can rescue pics of your card even after you deleted them. How neat is that!

As a keen photographer, but only a recent convert to digital, I was anxious to find a card that would be adequate to hold all the photos I might take on a 4 week trip to Australia. The 2GB disk held over 750 in high quality format and was ideal for what I needed. The speed meant photos were saved quickly, though I didn't notice much difference between the Extreme III and the Ultra II I already had - but that's probably due more to the camera than the card. Overall - absolutely what I wanted.

This card was listed as the best product for use with my Nikon D80 camera; and no surprise: fast storage and easy transfer of my photos. Do not hesitate to buy it!
