Sandisk seems to be the brand leader for memory. This size and spec was the best combination for my use. So far this cf card has functioned well, but only having smaller cards to compare with, the speed is hard to judge. Only time will tell whether it is durable.

) For the Canon 400D this CF card is as fast as the camera will justify. I have tried other cards, but for speed and reliability, this seems to be the one. There is of course the next stage up, the Extreme 4 but unless you have a camera with a faster write speed it seems a pointless exercise. With the Extreme 3 you tend to notice a quicker camera to computer load time as well. With continuing discounts and upgrades in technology this will soon be the standard, for happy snappers to pros.
