bought for my 9yr old son for xmas, simple to use and compact, nice big screen and value for money.requires mini tapes, which are cheap to buy. plays video, and also takes photos.

I had a similar model before and lost the charger. The camcorder was easy to use, for work and personal use.
So rather than getting another charger, I attempted to buy another camcorder in its complete state. I was pleased to get it from a good ebay seller.
I have disabilities, two are recently acquired, and this developed aversion to shopping in the high street. If I do go out shopping, I get very stressed and exhausted. Therefore having Ebay to buy items like the camera is a great, great help. Thanks.

Although camcorders using mini dv tapes are now rather out of date, they are ideal if you need to video sport on a regular basis to transfer to DVD. This is a good, light, easy to use camera with a few nice extras. You can pick one up for around £60 which seems very good value.
