This is great phone, I orgionally had the U600 but wanted a change so I was looking for a phone similar to this and the u900 fits the bill. Its slightly bigger and heavier then the u600 however it's still a wonderful stylish phone. The User Interface is very nice and quite responsive as well so you should get used to. The new themes for the phone make it look gorgeous and sleek as well.
You can also awnser/make calls read messages without opening the phone as well

This stylish slider 3G mobile phone comes in an ultra slim casing which has been beautifully designed by Samsung. The Samsung U900 Soul is also known as the Samsung Soul which stands & means the Spirit Of ULtra. The U900 Soul is a member of the popular Samsung Ultra range which includes the Samsung U600 & the Samsung U700. The overall look & design of this stunning handset make it both pleasing on the eye as well as being a smooth phone to use & operate. The casing is made from a tactile brushed metal finish which gives the Samsung U900 Soul the elegant & classy look it deserves. The casing is ultra slim which measures 12.9mm in depth which feels good to hold in the user's hand
A large colour screen works a clear & high colour display which is 2.2 Inches in size & has a high screen resolution of 240 pixels by 320 pixels. I had an existing phone(samsung g600) which I adored alot but it wasnt compatible for three network, so I upgraded for the samsung u900 wich was locked onto three. I must admit this phone is reall GREAT! My first reaction after reading some annoying reviews was that I would be dissapointed... BUT when I got the phone out it looked fantastic and I wanted to try it immediately. The touch panel is brilliant but you have to have petite hands, unlike me who press all the buttons, but then you get use to it which makes it very cool and high tech.
Alot of people had problems removing the back cover which is plain stupidity because it tells you on the instructions stuck on the back cover how to remove it and then after that all you need is the knack to do it again and again without problems.
Overall the phone is BRILLIANT... the disappointing parts which did bother me was that the sound which was slightly tinney compared with the g600. Some people suggest to set it to normal to combat this error but the voice volume is loud and fine.
The camera is slightly annoying because for me, the colours does not seem to be vibrant compared to the g600 and it can be a little slow too.
Apart from this the phone in my opinion is FANTASTIC!! I am not too particular about the minor errors and at the end of the day i can call people clearly and easily whithout too much fuss.
oh!... and the best part for me was that it still has the same big ben theme from g600 which i really liked so I was extra happy!

I have largely stuck to Sony Ericsson, however decided to give the Samsung U900 soul a try. I am so glad I did! Its easy to use in every respect, has a nice sized screen, the keys are readily accesible and user friendly. It has a good reception, looking stylish and definetly current.
Phones on the whole appear to be getting smaller and smaller with the most recent craze being 'candy bar' phones - which imo are stupid. Not everyone wants a tiny tiny phone especially those of us that have larger hands!
Well done Samsung - i think i have probably been converted for good. Lovely phone!!

Well what's missing from this phone ? not a thing! as its even got soul! To say it has it all would be right I love the touch screen as this is a great to navigate your way round the phone. Selling a phone like this would be a bad mistake and "you don't know what you've got till its gone" once you have a soul you will miss it if ever it was gone.

Simple and easy to use. What more can you say? The 5 megapixel camera is fantastic, the software is simple to use but a bit slow. Would advise an sd card so there is more room for storing music. Touch pad is magic.

the phone was delivered on time but upon inspection the camera didn't work, this was not a big issue to deal with though, i have ordered a new ribbon as the old one was damaged by the springs on the slider, CAN'T BLAME THE SELLER FOR THIS AS upon inspection the ant-tamper proofing screws were damaged as described they had not been removed, but an atempt to remove them had been made (as described in the description).
therefore sold as seen is correct, the problems are in process of beeing fixed and the phone is being unlocked via imei code and will later be flashed and recased in a new housing.
the camera didn't work upon inspection but this is soley due to damaged ribbon, spring will simply be rehoused.
overall good price for a good phone, well described in description, could have been repaired by anybody at a phone shop, seller has IN EFFECT lost alot of money from the sale of the phone as the phone is worth nearly 300, sold to me for 50, and my repair bill is less than 5 quid, top ebayer five stars *****

Phone's fine - this is for people that struggle to get an ORANGE locked mobile to work properly on your network. The phone HAS to be zapped with a cable - codes don't work. Secondly once you have had it unlocked you will probably have problems accessing WAP and MMS sevices - even if your operator has pushed the settings to you. The key is to ask your operator to push the settings directly from the Samsung site - this is what Vodafone did for me after much head-scratching and hey-presto - job done. Orange really do butcher their phones.

The telephone was not ready for use as the seller had not taken the trouble to notify Blackberry that the telephoned needed to be reset for use by others, or removed his data. I am not sure that your contact list would appreciate a stranger having access to their telephone numbers!
Handset poor condition - you can only see so much from photographs when purchasing off ebay andI feel that the seller took advantage of this as the marks were not described accurately in his description.

I love the feel of it and the touch panel is awsome, it looks cool to...all my mates are jealous lol. The menu is very easy to use and the camera is alright, it has a very bright flash which is good. I can't really pick a bad point except the stainless steel back can get light surface scratches quite easily but nothing to bad. Overall wicked phone.
