Samsung T220HD 22 in. LCD TV

What a product, has replaced both my Panasonic chunky tv and my old Benq monitor. Great delivery time, package was in good condition, would highly recommend...get one of these at a bargain £190!

auto tune very quick picture quality very good and I like the on off switch tv does not run on standby just on and off by remote or tv very happy

Looks great. easy to set-up. Picture is superb. Hooked up to my PS3, full 1080i
with a HD Component lead, With the PS3 being able to run 1080p a HDMI lead is the best option - far better picture than the component lead.

For the price, this is superb value for money. Blows away similar priced models and looks fantastic. 22" is ideal for a computer desk/study or bedroom. Bigger room, probable need a larger screen.

After deciding that the bedroom 15" portable TV was not really up to the job, I
perused the online critiques over several weeks, having started at 19" but soon realised that after a few weeks I would wish I had bought larger. As on previous buys of different items, the purchase of "not quite the latest" on eBay seemed a good approach especially if the vendor was not far away. So, for around £160 and an hour's drive away, I went for the 22" Samsung and we have not been disappointed. The frequent mention of "poor quality sound" was worrying but subsequently I have concluded that those critics were seeking "Hi Fi" with thumping bass. I do not have "cloth ears" and enjoy both my NAIM systems. GW

We were due to be turned over to digital,so to benefit I decided to replace a 2 year old Tubed Hitachi with an up to date tele for the kitchen.Read the usual reviews and opted for the Samsung 22" with freeview.Picture very good.Sound as good as can be expected for a set this size.
Initial problem was it kept switching itself on for a few seconds and then off.Weird.I switch it off at the mains now when it is not in use.

Only dislike is the very inadequate information supplied with the set,A multi-language fold over leaflet which is a total contrast to the info supplied for the matching Samsung DVD player since installed,Enough to keep any techie happy.

Reverting to the TV I was surprised when my grandson pointed out control buttons on the side of the set which I had missed.No mention in the leaflet.He then tuned in for me a full size booklet on the web.90 or so pages.This should surely be enclosed in the carton,but isnt, and isnt listed in the contents.So only buy it if you know what to do and how.Still.Its a damn fine picture.

After what seemed a hard task in choosing an 22" monitor this now seems to be the best chose that Iv made in a long time, the first thing that stands out was the connectivity which includes 15pin D-SUB, DVI-D, 2HDMI, Component, Optical Out, Scart, Cl Slot plus Embedded DTV tuner all running at 1680x1050 Full HD 1050p which makes ur HD Video's look great, and with a response time of 5ms running games from my pc never looked so good.

The style and the little touches like the red glow at the bottom (which can be adjusted) and the touch sensitive on/off button gave this the edge for me over the others.

I can not comment on the built in speakers (SRS Trusurround XT) but going by what I have read sound quality is very tinny and there's no bass to it, so this may be something that you need to look into if your not going to be using a different type of sound system.

For me this monitor is everything that i have wonted fantastic picture quality with built in DVB Tuner and connectivity for loads of different appliances.
