Samsung SGH-F700 Smartphone

I first got this phone on an upgrade for my contract when it came out. Obviosly the qwerty keyboard was what drew me to purchase this device and the vodafone salesman did a great job in selling me the item. Here is what I think about the F700.

First impressions........
As with many phones, they start outbeing quick and nippy, the battery life is fantastic and everyone looks at it when you get it out of your pocket; the F700 is no exception. The touch screen takes some getting used to however this is the case with all phones at the moment.

Usage......
Samsung have done a great job in ensuring that texting is easy. The qwerty keyboard makes it veryeasy (for those of us with very small hand) to write a long text messagein seconds. Although it is good for texting, emailing is not really an option with this phone. I spent houres trying to get it working, on the phone to Samsungand Vodafone and they both ended up saying use a computer.

Once you have had this phone for a few weeks the battery life gets very poor and the phone becomes luggish in general and freezes alot. The only way you can get round this is to take the battery out.


One small thing also is that there is a cancel button once you click send message to senda text but it does not work!!


All in all I would not recommend getting this phone as for the price there are much better ones around. I am on my third Blackberry now and they are fantastic so check them out.
