Samsung LE-32S71B 32 in. HDTV-Ready TV

All i can say is WoW, i never held Samsung products in the same standing as Sony but after having this great TV for just over 6 months i do now.

First the Connections are more than adequate, you've got a HDMI port, 2 Scarts, VGA & Sound (for connecting to a PC), S-Video and Component ports. I know another HDMI port would have been nice but this was an early model in the LCD market and they never really thought you'd need more than one. I had a PS3 and a HD DVD player, i connected the PS3 to the component ports and the HD DVD player to the HDMI port so it wasn't a problem because component is just as good at displaying 1920x1080i as the HDMI port.

The Tv itself has a processing unit in that Sharpens and clears up the picture making it look a lot nicer than some of the cheaper units, Having the Processing unit really does help normal TV looks quite good compared to a standard LCD TV and it's well worth considering this.. I tried using one of those DVD players that upgrades normal DVD to high definition and i was really surprised at how great the picture looked.. almost as good as blu-ray, no really.. I tried both out one after the other and i really couldn't tell that much difference and i think it's all down to the Processing unit.

Looks.. Well try a search for images of the model mentioned in this review and i hope you'll agree it a Black shinning beauty, in fact i haven't seen a model i prefer.

I've now got a HDD PVR, Xbox360, Cable Box and PC hooked up to this baby and it's worked faultlessly. My PC is in the opposite corner of the room but i just used extra long VGA & sound leads from the second ports of my PC and now when i've downloaded a Film i play it directly onto the TV instead of having to copy to DVD, and the Films look great, even DivX movies.. I Would definitely recommend..
