this dvr is down in the low cost dvr market , looks ok, is easy to set up and operate.
epg is a bit slow to work, playback sometimes is a bit iffy, seems to freeze for a split second, then will work ok for awhile then do's it again , annoying,.
pioneer dvd-ram will play on panosonic dvd-ram and vice-versa, but seems to be a problem with the samsung dvd -ram , it opperates in both the other machines ,but with faults, freezing ,no sound etc.
the only place for this samsung is the bedroom , where it should'nt have to be relied on.
pay extra get a panosonic or pioneer.
samsung make good phones but poor dvr's.

Having converted most of my old video collection to DVD I was thrilled to find this film gem in digital format. If you watch this in widescreen format, it really does the battle scene great justice; coupled with surround sound, you'll be gripped by the amazing cinematography. I would recommend the director's cut that includes scenes about the relationship between the lead character and his estranged wife and helps you to understand the motivation behind his decision. The run time is 183 minutes for the directors cut and 120 minutes for the cinema version. I was, however, disappointed by the lack of extras, which any fan of this classic would expect to be included. Th
