Have had this machine for a couple of weeks now and so far i'm very impressed. Very easy setup, very simple to use. The manual looks like a nightmare but don't worry it's a doddle to follow! Recording and playback facilities are excellent. The remote control is a bit cumbersome but very easy to operate. Picture quality is great but obviously not so great when you opt for the XP option. Recording from HDD to DVD and vice versa is a breeze. Yes i know it's early days but so far the Samsung in my opinion is a real quality machine!

easy to install, very easy to use. just plug in and play/record, very pleased with the unit, on screen instructions,can be used with either hard drive or disc, just what I wanted from a good reliable unit.
