Samsung DVD-F1080 DVD Player

I was looking for an affordable dvd player to go with my samsung hd tv that didnt cost the earth like some other brands,ive been very pleased with my purchase its a great unit looks stylish and is very compact and non obstructive,compared to more expensive units id say this one is just as good if not better than some philips units which are far dearer.

I wanted a funky sleek DVD player, so chose this lovely rounded cool player. It looks great with really good upscaling. It's got fab touch buttons, the only draw back is a slightly clunky menu to get back to the disc menu. Other than that, it's great and would defo recommend to anyone!

Excellent item, very stylish and in glossy white, which is an added bonus. Easy to use great visuals Amazing!!!!!

Basic dvd 1080p upscaler player.. buggy software. No Scart out. just phono and HDMI. Nothing special hence everybody flogging them cheap on ebay.

I like the design of this DVD player, its sleek and stylish and a good compact size. It's slightly noisey, however I think you get that with most DVD players.

we bought this dvd player to match our bedroom lcd tv (a white samsung.) and for no other reason! looks tiny in the pictures but is half a 'normal' dvd player only. There is no display so all on screen prompts. The remote is crap compared to the TV remote. Its a little black plastic thing with a car remote battery (feels cheap and nasty.) the touch sensitive controls are a nice touch though. doesnt come with a HDMI cable so budget for one to make full use of the upsacaling (still not quite HD though.) However Its no worse than our expensive Sony upscaling DVD in the front room. we paid £60 for this dvd player and to be fair. its disposable at that money!

I like the style of this product. Its a Xmas gift for our daughter as she has the white samsung lcd tv. We searched high and low for this dvd player but at £90 new it took a big chunk of her christmas budget! However we got this one from ebay boxed with everything as if it were new in fantastic condition for a 1/3 of the rrp what more could we ask for the seller was very polite and an absolute pleasure to deal with the product and the seller come very highly recommended! Its easy to use the only fault I can possibly have is the fact the remote is black which looks daft for a white media set up! Other than that Im over the moon with it! Also id like samsung to put dvd control on the tv remotes like Panasonic do so one remote controls all products ingenious idea! Ive marked as good but Id say its a 4.5 bars out of 5 rather than 4! Very good product!

Nice look...great pic but crappy remote, looks like its 10 years old. Overall a good non-HD/Blu Ray DVD player. Best for the bedroom.

I purchased this DVD player after reading good reviews and I was not disappointed. The upscaling really works and the result is much better on my HDready tv than my standard player. A really nice product.

All good stuff, posted in good time as well as goods comms. Great price not to be beaten. Well packed and the discription was spot on.

I was a bit dissapointed that it didn't have a scart, but except for that it's a lovely little divx player. I am really happy with it.

I wanted a DVD player for my SAMSUNG LCD TV,but it had to be small, without loads of comlicated add on's, the Samsung DVD-F1080 DVD Player fitted the bill, it sets itself up, with perfect HMDI picture, good sound, all in a very small neat looking package.

Pros
The cost is very reasonable and it is extreamely compact,unobtrusive and attractive in appearance. It performs all the tasks required of it very efficiently with the minimum of effort.

Cons
I haven't discovered any.

Love the styling, touch control buttons and size it's perfect for the space we have and very good value for money; Samsung are one of the best manufacturers in the world.

cheaper price than everyone else good communications excellent delivery excellent customer service and very happy with the product would definetly deal with this person again was an overall pleaseant transaction!!!!!!!
