Samsung D600 Cellular Phone

The Samsung D600 Mobile phone is one of the best phones I have come across for practicality and ease of use. It has all the functions you would want in a phone, Bluetooth, Mp3 player, video capture and playback with sound, a nice 2 megapixel camera with zoom, and mobile internet capable also. It also has the facility to connect up to you home TV or video via a phone to video phono cable. Ringtones are quite loud and the MP3 playback through the on board stereo speakers of the phone is also good. Phone calls are clear with ample volume to hear the person calling when in a loud environment. Battery life is good also although I only had this hanset on test for about two days and the battery had plenty of life left. The menus are child play and I found my way around them without reading the manual.
Look out for well used handsets, things wear on this model. You can get problems with the ribbon cable joining the two sliding sections of the phone resulting in a white screen or a completely dead screen and phone! The sliding mechanism can also jam or worse fall to bits. The screen outer plastic lens can get quite scuffed making pictures and the menus having a blurred apperance although a change of housing would give the phone a new lease of life but changing the housing is very fiddly and best left to the professional repair shop. Try not to drop the phone as a cracked LCD can result... have a look on ebay under "D600 faulty" and count how many there are!! Replacement LCD screens are ready available but are expensive and again very fiddly to replace. One last thing, as most mobile phones....Dont get it wet, it wont like you very much and will die or if you are lucky pout like a child until it dries out!
