Ross Noble - Sonic Waffle (DVD)

I bought this really on a whim, I had seen his performance on Jack dee's 'live at the apollo' (also included in the exras) and thought he was quite funny, as well as completely mental. When I saw this on ebay I thought 'hey what the hell lets get it'. Anyways, once I watched it I had no regrets. You can see that he doesnt stick to a script and most of his set is (from the looks of things) made up on the spot which si refreshing and enjoyable. However the more you watch this the more you wonder if there is somebody at the side of the stage waiting to give him a sedative or something. however all in all a great watch. There are plenty of extras including the previously mentioned Apollo performance, commentary; commentary on the commentary; commentary on the commentary in thai (I think) (and no I dont know why either) (I heart Brackets!) and a 'guess which celebrity face is in the muffin' game (Don't ask Just watch).

This is a great DVD for anyone who is a fan of stand up, especially along the lines of Dylan Moran, Bill Bailey, Eddie Izzard and Billy Connoly. The only negative I could give is that at first his general accent and behaviour can grate a bit on your nerves but trust me look past it and you'll see some comic gold.
