Ross Noble - Randomist (DVD)

We saw Ross live last year and were absolutely blown away by his original, innocent and energentic style and his ability to make every show totally unique. What ever he is on I want some of it! The DVD set is great and shows you lots of behind the scenes stuff - he is a very clever and hilariously funny man! Oh... and the hair is wicked!!!

This is one of the funniest cd's I have ever seen! I did not know Ross Noble's work, and was bowled over by his type of humour. He is constantly on the move, and puts such energy into his shows, that you are never bored or waiting for the next laugh. He may not be everyone's taste in humour, but he certainly is mine now, and well worth a look, and for fans of his, this is a great series.
I bought it because I was recommended by someone who knows my sense of humour, and he was right!

Given that I like Eddie Izzard and Billy Connolly, I found Ross Noble to be a mixture of both. The zaniness (is that a word?) of Eddie crossed with the down-to-earthness (now I know that’s not a word) of Billy. I had to turn this DVD off part way through as I had a coughing fit through laughing that much. The DVD is also fantastic value for money as similar to Ross himself, it goes on and on. 545 minutes to be precise, that’s over 9 Hours!! (The main feature is just under 2 hours).

if you like your comedy slightly off the wall then this is the dvd for you. left me with aching sides from all the laughter, and his of screen comments from inside a little room have to be heard to be believed. i got this for my 16yr old daughter for her birthday but i may just keep it myself!!!! only kidding she is going to love this.

that man is mad, crazy, silly, hilarious and just generally off his head. he had me on the floor crying with laughter with this DVD. *****

I saw Ross Noble on tv on Jack Dee at the Apollo, and he had me in stitches..He was so original, and energetic..I bought the dvd to see if that's what his stand up routine was always like, and I didn't stop laughing from start to finish..
He is the funniest comedian on the planet..For sheer raw energy and enthusiasm I rate him 10/10, he didn't stop talking, bouncing and generally running around the stage like a madman for the whole show..and his interactions with members of the audience were hysterical..
It's very hard to explain his humour if you haven't heard of him, but I imagine it's a bit like being hit by a speeding train and seeing the funny side of it..:)
He's exhausting to watch
Having seen this dvd, I can't wait to acquire the others..I recommend this dvd to everyone.. young and old..
that is unless you have a dicky heart, then I wouldn't buy it..you'll die laughing!

Ross Noble is so funny, this is a four box set and the DVDs are excellent and really funny from start to finish. I would recomend this to anyone even people who have not watched him before.

Great main feature and encore. Some of the additional features are hard to hear as sound quality is low.

This one made me laugh until I cried. Ross Noble at his best. No long pauses or gaps in the humour, no dull patches, just continuous manic entertainment. A must see DVD.

Ross Noble is amazing. If you love his other dvds, you will really enjoy this dvd. Also, great value for money as its 4 disks packed full of extra shows.

Two years ago I had the opportunity to see Ross Noble live at the Adelaide Fringe and became a fan from that date. Being of pension age I presumed that Ross was only popular "Down Under" and didn't realise that he had a large fan base here in England.
If something takes my fancy I often check it out on E Bay because it is a terrific source of reference even if no purchase is made and that is what I did to find Ross Noble information. Having found that Ross Noble Randomist was available I made a bid and was lucky enough to be successful.
As with all my purchases so far the quality of the DVD was first class as was the speed of delivery, I was well satisfied.
0K you may ask, if i was that satisfied why only a good rating. The DVDs do show Ross at his very best, (including the very show that I saw in Adelaide), but nothing on a TV screen can project the wit and zany enthusiasm that Ross shows on stage, it would be impossible to package, he needs to interact with a live audience. Most of the shows on the DVD are filmed in front of a live audience but nothing can compare with the real thing.
After this comparison I would like to add that the DVD could not be better given the restrictions and the good rating seems a little harsh, maybe there should be a very good rating.
To me Ross is a zany free spirit that prowls the stage picking thoughts out of the air at random and turning them into obscure fantasies that have me rolling with laughter, how can anyone try to impersanate a church on stage. Unfortunately my wife just does not get him, I guess that he is not everybodys cup of tea.
To me he is great and I am thankful to E Bay for pointing me in the right direction to make the purchase.

i bought this dvd because ross noble is extremely funny and this dvd was hilarious and with 4 discs there was alot to laugh at
