This is a brilliant DVD to watch if you like watching anything related to the army, Ross goes behind the lines with soldiers in Helmond provence, we have all heard about it on the news, but what is it really like? how do the soldiers cope day in day out with bullets wizzing about thier heads? what do they eat and how do they manage to get any sleep? All these questions and more are answered in this DVD,Ross does not stand at a safe distance to report this everyday activity, he is right in the middle and in the process of making this film gets shot at!

Ross kemp dose this fantastic, great to see the front line action of our soliders and to be there. This DVD acheives it's goal in every sence I was gripped watched it through gave me and my family a better sence of what war is like and what we our up against. Our brave soliders shown in a positive light throughout. I rate this documentry with top marks really should be watched will have you on edge of your seat and also have you remember the brave soliders we have lost.
This is just a quick view from my side and I no not everyone will agree with this

This was truly awakening, eye-opening, matter of fact television. For those of you (like Kemp, the soldiers he served with, and myself) who thought modern warfare was no longer about the fighting infantry man foot soldier and all about fly-by-wire electronic kit, think again. Watch this, learn, and gain a massive amount of respect for Kemp for putting himself in so many trouser soiling situations to tell their story, but more so for the troops who are doing the job. A gripping watch, sure to touch you in some way. Even if for the very sad realities of war. A must watch - incredibly humbling.

this was absolutly brilliant being from a forces background and having done service but never actually served in afgan this just shows you what the guys out there are really going through.

Great series!!! An insight into what is really going on in Afghanistan. Fiance is due to go there so this has shown him what to expect. Ross Kemp is amazing for doing this series!!!

This is just the best viewing i've ever watched, truely gripping and touching.
Finally our lads are being given the chace to show what they go through and there opinion on the war and taleban fighters!!!

I saw a freinds copy of this and had to buy it . It is so amazing to get a real sight of what our soldiers go through in the war on Afghanistan.. it is also good to see the effect of war on the people in that country too. Ross Kemp is fantastic in the lead for this. My 10 year old thinks it is an amazing Dvd highly recommended

Bought this dvd as we dont have sky tv, our son is due to go on his first deployment later this year, we found this very interesting and informative. Ross kemp did a excellent job.

I bought this for my husband as a birthday present. It an excellent documentary of front line soldiers in afghanistan. I dont think you can really appreciate what they are going through until you see this. Ross Kemp is excellent in this role, a very brave man indeed who does not hold back his emotion especially when a young soldier is killed in action. I would recommend this to al.

Love this type of Documentary. This was a genuine DVD, not a copy which some E-Bayer's try and pass them off as. The Description was spot on and a realistic postage price was attached to the product. I bought this DVD rather than going to a shop because it didnt matter that it had already been viewed as that was exactly what i was going to do with it any way.

A deciding factor in the purchase was the sellers 100% positive feedback. Ive quite often been put of buying a product if people have negative or even neutral.

As Documentaries go this is spot on. Ross kemp is a well known figure head having been a lead character in Eastenders and then Series like Ultimate Force and The Documentary Ross Kemp on Gangs, I knew this was going to be good. This is as close to being on the front line as your going to get whilst sitting in your front room!!!!
