I love this album, it is a mixture of slow to fast tunes. You have the brilliant 'To Die For' and equally brilliant 'Angels calling' which are the slower music. This is definately ROCK but with a poppy feel just listen to the first track 'Joy ride' or second track 'Come get some'.Anyone who watched Stormbreaker the movie will have heard at least one Rooster track- 'On the road'.(At the beginning in the car just before Ewan's character dies). 'Staring at the sun' was in the charts and some of the others were but I'm not really a chart watcher.
I admit my daughter got me interested into this album, she took it so I had to buy another. For me this is far better than there next album but saying that I also brought Circles and Satelites which has some really good tracks too. Unluckily if you are a new fan like me they split up at Christmas 2006.

  70's rock lives on

Who'd have thought it. 4 young English lads brokering 70's rock. But not just brokering it, outdoing many of their contemporaries. Free and Bad Company appear to be obvious influences, with just a hint more melody and tune, but still plenty of soul (feeling that is - not Luther Vandross)and balls!! They rock with the best at times and this album gives a great taste of what may be yet to come. A good album to crank up in your soft-top with the summer breeze blowing away the 'syrup of figs' whilst reminding you that good old rock can still be found on these shores. Give it a listen!!

I found this quite disappointing, the majority of tracks are struggling, possibly 2 strong tracks, ok but not ground breaking
