Album Notes The Rolling Stones are a household name all over the world, with their music reaching out to fans of all genres and ages. This collection of the band's early hits was originally released in 1975 and contains some of the most groundbreaking and unsurpassed music in rock 'n' roll history. 'Rolled Gold+', an extended version of the original (simply entitled 'Rolled Gold'), is the first time the compilation has appeared on CD and boasts such classic tracks as '(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction' and 'Paint It Black'. | |||||||||||
Reviews Review created: 04/07/08 by: I had all these original titles on various vinyl singles, EP's and LP's but to have them all on one media is great. Most of them stand the test of time and will give pleasure for years to come. The Rolling Stones were encouraged to be the bad boys of the 60's. Their music and looks were scary at the time but they were and still are the best rock band of all time. This CD enhances their reputation. Review ID: 10000000007803299 Was this review helpful? Carol, which he thinks is better than the original by Chuck Berry. Review ID: 10000000007431874 Was this review helpful? For some reason there has never been a production in CD form to match it. The reproduction is fine and to have, what I consider to be the best of the Stones era from day one is terrific. I am sure my car goes faster and uses less fuel when I am playing it. Review ID: 10000000006180792 Was this review helpful? Report this review |
